“In response to the owner, I have never had an issue during the day at this turkey hill, but usually when I come at night the employees are sitting over at the tables by the windows. Last night my husband and I stood at the register waiting to get checked out and they just sat over at the tables laughing and talking so we left. That's the only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5”

“Had a great experience at this Giant location, which was a bit surprising given the poor reviews. My mother and I needed a few small items and found everything we needed. The store was clean and well-stocked. With over half of the residents of Hazleton being Hispanic, Giant is smart to have many diverse goods sold here, from Eastern European to Asian Pacific Islander to Italian and Dominican, and more. I love the coming together of ethnicities in the city and businesses embracing the beautiful cultures comprising Hazleton. Our cashier, Joel, was friendly, helpful, and professional. We were most impressed with the produce department, which was maintained well with fresh items and plentiful choices. The bulk bags of collard greens looked good and were fairly priced. Both regular and organic bananas ranged from green to yellow, giving shopers a pick of desired ripeness. Different price points for items existed in most departments. The liquor store within the store had its own cashier, and there were many options. It was really helpful seeing some of the wine and other liquors tagged with a note stating the item would soon be gone. One of our purchases was in the snack foods department, where we selected a bag of store brand kettle cooked potato chips. They were only $2.09, a good deal in today's inflationary climate. It is worthwhile to have a Giant Rewards card because small savings add up to more significant savings. You lost one star for the parking lot. It's dirty with trash, and people drive across parking spaces at high, erratic speeds. Recommend you request law enforcement support outside your business. There are frequent walkers, too, and they should not risk their lives to irresponsible drivers. If you are open at this location beyond 6-11 am for 7 days a week, please update the hours on Yelp. Also, someone in senior management needs to claim this business. Otherwise, it gives the impression that management doesn't care what customers think about the store.Thank you for a good experience!”

“Cashiers are very helpful they have a bathroom if you need it, even if your not a customer, they sell lots of beers, and 3 shelves stocked of wines, at a good affordable price. Trac6 goes from ice cream to dairy products.
Chips, snacks, vapes, hookah products, lottery, gas, water, perfumes from Dubai, varieties of Dubai candy bars starting at 5 dollars and up, medicine for headaches, menstrual, bachache, paper toilets, some cat and dog food, air pump, and the also have 2 tables where you can sit down and enjoy a nice evening or morning drinking beer or wine or even eating. There is also 5 or 6 slot machines and 1 quarter machine to enjoy your day to earn big. The biggest winner won $6k within 3 hours with 1 quarter on the slot machine in one night how amazing and lucky was that person. ? I highly recommend you going there.”

“On a trip from CT. to Michigan I needed gas. Took exit 256 on Rt 80. To avoid the nightmare at the big travel center I continued on and found this gem. Wonderful people, great service, fair prices. I was traveling with an rv, plenty of room to get in and out. Well worth a 2 mile ride to avoid the mess at the travel center. Have stopped there 3 additional times on my trips and will be back.

“Whilst traveling to visit family in Scranton. I had to stop off for some fuel. I wanted to buy a scratcher and didn't know what to pick. So I asked the clerk whos name is Mark to pick a random number. So he did and I go that number scratcher. I won $500 on it, thanks to Mark he turned a long trip into a GREAT trip!
