2519 S Queen St, YorkHighly recommend! I’ve been taking my 4 year old Mini Golden Doodle here for nail trims for probably about a year and a half now and my 1 year old puppy for about 6 months now. My puppy is very temperamental with getting groomed and has gone as far as trying to bite them and they never once got mad at him. They do an amazing job with grooming them. I’m very specific about how I like them to look and they always do noting short of an amazing job! Prices are very reasonable and all staff are very pleasant and trustworthy to be around! They also explain why they might have to do something different as far as cutting them. My dogs do get matted pretty quickly and they always take their time to brush every mat they can out! Would recommend to anyone looking for a very trustworthy place to get ur dog groomed!

He took to her right from his first visit, which included one of his favorite things, a long relaxing bath.Jazz had his second appt scheduled, but his health took a downturn, and he was going to be put to sleep. Barb agreed to move up his appt so he could have a spa bath, a fluff, and a trim.He was a happy, relaxed dog indeed, and I will always remember how content he looked when I picked him up from Trudy's ❤️

The staff was welcoming, efficient and pleasant. Vet was thorough and knowledgeable. Cost was reasonable at <$150 & my kitty got examined, Vaccinated and given shot/ meds for allergies. Hill Street is my new Vet care home! Very pleased with their care.

I first went to a place in Shrewsbury as it is closer to my home but was told there was an 8-10 hr wait and if I left would lose my place in line all while there was not another soul in the waiting area and I was holding my dog who had a bad allergic reaction to a shot. I promptly went to the center in York where they told me on the phone I could drop off my dog if the wait was too long. I got there and they took Titus right back and took care of him. The doctor and staff were so kind and pleasant. This will always be my first stop!

And the pierogis were crispy, but still fluffy. Their bar staff was super attentive and friendly, the vibes all around were really great. We're from out of town, but this is definitely a place that's worth going out of your way to come to for lunch or dinner, or just to grab a drink and get back on the road.

197 Shoe House Rd, YorkPhoto as you pass or stop in. If you are headed west is on the left side of the highway immediately after the bridge. Keep an eye out. If you are headed east it’s in the right side of highway 30 just before the bridge (Shoe House Road) and you can see it from the highway.
It was built it 1948 and if you were in your honeymoon or a senior you could stay for free.

Brougher Companion Animal Shelter - York County SPCA
3159 N Susquehanna Trail, YorkAdopting our new family member was an amazing experience! We applied quickly online after going in during normal visiting hours to view available dogs and doing some research on the dogs on their website. We noticed how clean the shelter was and how the staff clearly cared for the animals. We also saw dogs being walked by volunteers, playing in outdoor kennelsand being given treats. We received a call within a day or so to review the application, discuss the dog and to make sure he was a fit for the family. A meeting was scheduled a few days out so that all family members could meet the dog. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Although the shelter was extremely busy that day, we interacted with several professional and knowledgeable employees and volunteers who helped us with the meeting, reviewing med information, completing paperwork, and taking pictures. It was such a smooth process and all of the employees and volunteers were absolutely wonderful and provided helpful tips for the first few days and months after adoption. After we got home, we more carefully reviewed the dogs history and medical record and noticed the extraordinary veterinary care he received during his 3 month stay at the shelter. Kudos to the YSPCA for all of the work they do with the animals to keep them well taken care of, getting them ready for adoption and working with adopters.
