“First time going in here. Upon entry we were greeted and then offered a complimentary tea/coffee. Clean, organized. Beautiful products. SUPER friendly and welcoming. We will be back, thank you!!”
“This store is amazing! Great selection of everything including really good vegan cheeses from Greece. All of their prepared salads are 10/10 ( have tried them all but really love the lentil one, the mixed bean and pasta).
Their inhouse bakery is stellar!! The spinach and meat fatayer are the best i have ever has and I try them everywhere. Pastries and cookies are delicious. Hats off to the cooks and bakers!!”

“I ordered my daughter’s birthday cake from the Piggy Market as I was looking for a nut free bakery and haven’t liked other bakeries. The whole family loooooved our vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream from the Piggy Market! It was very moist, with lots of rich buttery decadent icing! I would definitely order from them again and highly recommend. As well, the price was incredibly reasonable.”
“I love shopping here! The owner is always pleasant and provides top-notch customer service. The prices are great, and the shopping experience is always enjoyable.
Highly recommend!”

“Healthy Planet - Kanata is a great spot for anyone looking for a wide variety of vitamins, supplements, health foods, and specialty grocery items. The store is well-organized with a good selection of products that you don’t always find at regular grocery stores, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices and sales make it a solid choice for wellness shopping around Kanata. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that occasionally some products are out of stock, and on a couple of visits it took a bit longer than expected to find exactly what I was looking for. But overall it’s a positive experience and worth a visit for health-conscious shoppers!”
“Sometimes am in the area it's nice to stop in after a long ng day at work they have lots a new fun ideas I'll stop in someday soon to see more great shopping experiences ?”
“I ordered a tray of baklava from Istanbul Food Market and it was absolutely delicious. They returned my call right away and spoke very kindly and professionally. Great service and amazing taste. Thank you!”
“I love this store, they have great fresh herbs and vegetables that are difficult to find elsewhere. The owners are also really nice, and the lovely man at the cash speaks many languages including french.”

“The place is clean and tidy, as it is supposed to be.
The owner is a lovely, charismatic and an easygoing man, the butcher is one of the nicest persons ever.
It was my first visit ever, and definitely not the last one.”
“I rank Shiraz the best Iranian supermarket in Ottawa. Manager is so friendly and helpful. You can find most of the imported products from Iran in there with very reasonable price.”

“The staff are super friendly and always make you feel welcome. Prices are fair, and their fresh sandwiches are honestly so good! Feels like a cozy neighborhood spot you can count on.”
“The restaurant did not cook the food. If you look at the reviews, they say they serve Jjajangmyeon and Jjambbong, but they don't do that anymore. Kimbap and kimchi were delicious and cheap. It was okay and I parked in front of the store for a while and made a purchase.”
“We love produce depot. Not only are the fruits and vegetables well chosen and well maintained, the fresh fish is delicious and reasonably priced. They also have a decent vaiety of breads and wraps etc. Highly recommended and we'll make this our #1 store for produce.”

“Exceptional store! Thana Market is a gem for Indian and Sri Lankan groceries. They have fresh vegetables and produce, a great selection of everyday groceries, and an impressive range of Pooja and religious items. Everything feels fresh and well stocked. In my experience, it’s even better than the South Asian supermarket in Nepean. Highly recommended!”

“Love the Farm Boy at Rideau Centre—store is smaller and snug, but the food is so fresh and filling. This is where stop by for a quick meal or snacks to enjoy a picnic at Major’s Hill park. Thank you Farm Boy, I love you!”
“Got our bread and some strawberries. The staff was very good and directed my feind and I to what we were looking for. It was a good experience. I will be back.”
“I loved going to marché monette for their home made meals. I really struggle to make meals for the whole week and having a ready to cook meal right around the corner is really a life saver.”
“My friends and I have been coming to this store for 6 years now. The owner Hati is a super funny and friendly man who makes great jokes and always makes me feel welcome. The store also has a great selection of candy and other foods such as cereal and drinks. Overall this store offers a great experience and I will definitely keep coming here.”
“Very large variety and kind, knowledgeable staff. Shopped here many times always very happy with my purchases.
Products past their best before date are marked as such and are discounted 25% if not more!!”
“I love shopping at Food Africana Shop. After shopping here a few times, these are some the reasons you should as well;1)Neat2)Affordable prices3) Amazing Customer Service.4)Accessible5)Owner’s listen and care about their customers.Keep up the great work Food Africana Shop :)”
“A very good and unique store. The bakery inside is amazing and the choices for food inside this store is great. The only complaint I have is they don’t refund money to your account they will give you a gift card instead. The prices can range from okay to great, hopefully this isn’t another casualty of online shopping!”
“Easy walk, fresh food, and great discounts if the food is not quite in your budget. Friendly and efficient cashiers. 3-4 cash express which I almost never need to use. At 11:30-12:30pm, it tends to be packed; in my experience especially on Wednesdays and Thursdays. 50% items are always in good shape if I get them; good way to try stuff you're unsure about. Many prices for things I buy I find are just a few quarters off of what you'd pay at Walmart or Food Basics. However, it is not a one stop shop like the aforementioned. Forks and spoons on your way out.”
“This place is a local gem. I heard Kaz Kitchen had changed ownership recently and decided to check it out since it has been a few months of disappointment with what was in the shelves. The new owner was so kind and immediately wanted to know what I was looking for and promised to stock it up for me. A couple days later, she had gotten exactly what I was looking for, and she's kept it in stock since! Not to mention the meat pies and lasagnas and desserts she makes! I always make sure to get a lunch or snack while there. Excellent cornerstore for Guigues Avenue.”
“Store is small but was not busy when I was there. Food is prepackaged and frozen. All packages have excellent descriptions and photos of their contents. Prices are also clear and visible. I enjoyed looking at every single product on display. Picked up a nice selection for Easter weekend. Personalized customer service was readily available. Checkout was fast and friendly. Health conscious shoppers will want to examine the product nutrition info because it takes a "lot" of sodium to preserve food.”
“I love this store, the owners are super friendly and always remember what cigarettes I buy, don't even have to say a word. It's the kind of customer service you just don't get anymore.”

“This is a reasonably well-stocked Indian grocery store offering a good variety of vegetarian products.
In addition to everyday groceries, they carry religious and festival items such as incense, kalash pots, small deity statues, and decorative pieces.
You can also pick up ready-to-eat or freshly made snacks like jalebi and samosas.
The grocery selection primarily covers North Indian and South Indian cuisines, including items like frozen parathas, Indian desserts, rice varieties, fresh and frozen vegetables, cooking pots, utensils, and more.
That said, I haven't come across certain specific ingredients there, such as taro leaves, momo wrapper, etc.”

“Good experience. The customer service is impeccable and attentive to its customers once there. On the other hand, prices can be high for a newcomer who does not yet have a lot of means?”
“Best place in Ottawa to get Euro food. Its been difficult to find Finnish food in Eastern Ontario so whenever I make a trip to Ottawa I stop here. They even had fresh pulla last time I was there. But since this is all imported products it can be on the pricey side. But that's okay, it fills my cravings!”
“Great place for halal meat. All Pakistani, Indian groceries could be found there. The owners are very friendly. Great atmosphere and clean store.
Highly recommend.”
“Courteous service. Dealing with 2 people from different departments and very helpful, and they took the time. At the self-service checkouts too, the young woman was very helpful.”
