I spent around 2 hours exploring the exhibits and browsing the gift shop. Additionally, they offer a student discount, making it even more appealing for younger visitors.”

“The incredible service started just moments after booking online, when I received a phone call confirming my reservations. I was able to customize the accommodations and learn more about our stay.As we pulled up to the enchanting location, we had the pleasure of being met by Kristina for a tour of the grounds.Upon arrival, we were delighted by early entry into our beautiful guest rooms. We couldn’t believe the attention to detail throughout the hotel but specifically in the accommodations. By the time we got to our room, the seamless staff beat us there with our luggage, jackets perfectly hanging in the closet.Our guest room continued to be magically perfected while we were away, with surprises waiting for us on our pillows. We returned to fresh water in the fridge, wires organized by the bed and toiletries perfect at the sink.The features in the room rivaled the quality and luxury of any five star hotels such as automated blinds, automatic fireplace, heated floors and a truly luxurious shower experience. This is a historic building with charm, but does not show signs of suchq in terms of the luxurious finishes that adorn the room.The true magic of this hotel was the staff and the seamless communication that happens behind the scenes to create magic for the guest. This was hospitality at its finest all around. Kristina told us upon arrival that they aim for their guest to not have to think about any of their needs during their stay. After witnessing first hand, I can say that the team successfully stayed one step ahead of our every possible want for the duration of our visit.”

“Visiting the area in October and our intent was to get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors by walking the trails. We learned when we arrived on a Wednesday afternoon that a 1 hour tour was just about to begin and so we joined it. So glad we did. Still enjoyed the trails but also learned about the local plants and enjoyed the company of the others on the tour. Great place to visit.”
“We happened to be in the area. My wife wanted a nice night near a real wood fireplace. We tried to book online reservations but booked all nightWe called and the hostess was awesome and said she could squeeze us in at 8 or they were just opening at 4 pm and if we arrived at opening it would be No problem.We arrived and sat us at our request right by the fireplace. We had the lobster ravioli and chicken parm over angle hair pasta two glasses of wine and a chocolate mousse cheese cake and Teramasu . Our experience with a fantastic waitress Jen C and an authentic Italian meal was amazing. We did the blind taste dinner and, not sure how, but every dish that came out was better than the previous one! And all of them were incredibly good! I had the Manicotti al pomadoro and my boyfriend had some farfalle cream dish, which was fantastic as well. We had tiramisu for dessert, and I'll just say we would've ordered 3 if we could eat it all. This is a must try spot!”

“This is a great car museum with a ton of beautiful cars from across the ages. We will definitely head back. Fantastic gift shop, and the staff was really kind. Only knocked one of the stars because after spending forever in the gift shop, it's starting to be completely obvious that there were a lot of weird semi misogynistic posters, and souvenirs that had a weird little knocks at women's expense. Nothing crazy at all, just a ton of pieces talking about how women are nagging, always shopping, difficult, or not interested in cars. One or two seem to be standard, a few more than that is fine, but it started to become a little obvious once we were looking around the souvenir shop for a few minutes. All in good fun I suppose, but with that many, it felt pointed. It was just a little weird and kind of stuck with me after -other than that will definitely come back.”

“As a member of the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco we have reciprocal privileges to use the NYYC club (and Vice Versa) when we're are traveling. This goes for the NYYC Harbor Court station in Newport, RI. Our Commodore was having his "Commodore Cruise" in New England and the closing dinner was to be at Harbor Court. Now, with COVID there was a limit on guests amd total crowd for a dinner. We had over 100 cruising ew England and over 80 were due for the final dinner. Add Henri the hurricane to the mix and we had some challenges for the dinner. We had cocktails on the front lawn. Then, the NYYC set is up outside in the motor court area for dinner. This allowed us to get our entire group together. Weather was perfect. CalmBefore the storm as they say. We even had the opportunity to watch the clubs "colors" ceremony when they retreat the flag each evening prior to sunset. Now getting to the food and service. With COVID it is especially hard to find amd keep good servers. We struggle with that at our club. It here at the NYYC. First they had plenty of staff. A welcome reprise from those businesses who can't seem to ramp staff back up. Even more impressive, their staff are trained very well. Women first, serve from left, remove fromRight etc...I was thoroughly impressed that during COVID, and the night before a major hurricane, the NYYC was able to host the dinner for the StFYC and do so at such a best-of-class level. If you have a chance to visit Harbor Court, don't miss it!”
“Wonderful! We were greeted warmly and shown around the Inn, which is beautiful. Our room was the size of an apartment with a large French free-standing tub perfect for relaxing before bed. It was rainy, so we walked the beach a bit, hung out in the reading room, and had the best dinner in the Inn. The staff was more than helpful and welcoming to any needs we had. I was impressed by how G.M. Teresa greeted and spoke to everyone, making it feel like staying at a good friend's house. We will stay at the Stone House Inn again and recommend it to everyone.”
“Nov. 8th, 2023, we had the pleasure of having our daughter's wedding at the Galilee Beach Club. I cannot say enough about how well the complete event was handled, from the rehearsal dinner the night before to every detail on the wedding day!! This place and their staff are truly Top Notch!!! “We host a weekly homeschool group at Island Art Spot and we couldn't be happier with the program that Jenn is running. Our group is aged is 1.5 - 5 years old and the kids are always so sad to leave. The art class is full of creativity & play. The book and the bubbles at the end of the class is my son's favorite part. I highly recommend Island Art Spot to any family looking to provide their kids with creative opportunities!”
“Taking dance lessons in advance with Floor Time Studios was such a wonderful experience and made a phenomenal memory for our wedding. We took several couples classes and did two private sessions to choreograph and practice our first dance. The lessons were a fun date time for us. We learned valuable life lessons like how I could follow and lead, how to sense each other, give small signals, and mostly how to laugh and enjoy the moment. We found a lot of romance in focusing on each other and we continue to dance at our house. We also are working into the busy newly married life heading back to dance class because it was such a wonderful time. Our first dance turned out great and everyone loved it. We were able to relax after all the practice and focus on being together for our first dance. We also received some amazing pictures of this memory. Sarah was so easy to work with and a total joy. When I was a bit overwhelmed the week of the wedding she completely worked with our schedule, went out of her way to spend extra time with us, and was so warm and easy going we were instantly at ease. Really I can't say enough positive things about Sarah and Floor Time Studios. Highly recommend for any of your special occasions or just because!”

“This hotel is in the perfect location & staff is exceptional. There is a bar and dining room on site, which was nice. Although the room was clean, it was small & dated. The full-size bed was small for two adults. The lighting was dull & there is no room in the bathroom for toiletries. I had a hard time putting on makeup without proper lighting. Overall we were pleased because of the location & enjoyed our time in Newport.”
“Thi is now the Harbor Beach Island Resort on GOAT Island.. the rooms need a bit of a refresh. The staff was great. The food was good, but not great. Still a fun place in Newport for a little getaway”
