1341 W Main Rd, MiddletownToday, August 23rd was my first time at Ruff Waters Dog Wash.
The previous week i kept picturing myself on my knees, on the tile floor, with the toilet bowl blocking off half the tub where the
faucet is and trying to hold my Mini Poodle in the tub, as she will try to jump out.
Then a miracle happened. I spotted a sign Dog Wash ! I quickly
pulled in and went inside. Perfection is the best word to describe
this ingenuous set up. Everything you need, right there. Each
stall is enclosed and the door locks, no 4 legged intruders. There
is a board that Chris , the Owner, places in sink so if your pup is tiny he is up to your level, no bending.
Everything you will need he supplies.
P.S Chris treats all the dogs, both huge and tiny like they were his
kids !!!!

We enjoy seeing his report cards and pictures. You get what you pay for - Lucky Dog is a great place to leave your pet and you can trust your dog will be well taken care of.

They took such good care of our boy and he ALWAYS had an amazing haircut, no nicks or patches like we have had at previous groomers. We are so sad to be leaving Brooke and her skills.

He came back a completely different dog and we are FOREVER grateful for the work the Island Canine team did for our boy. He is amazing, but the training makes him that much more amazing. The money spent is priceless for the results we see in just 2 weeks.

4 Wave Ave, MiddletownThis place is exactly what it claims to be - a clam shack. Focus is on fried seafood made fresh at fair prices. We ordered the smaller size of full-bellied clams and fried scallops. The plate of clams and fries that came out would have been more than enough for the 2 of us!! Soooo good! And the scallops were sea scallops - the big ones - not bay scallops which was a great surprise!! We ate outdoors by a giant shark statue. The place has a beach nautical look to it. Food was cooked fresh to order. Oh and they have a small parking lot. It's one block in away from the main beach road, kind of behind the restaurant.

87 Oliphant Ln, MiddletownI’ve had a great experience with Potter League for Animals. The staff and volunteers truly care, and the animals are clearly well loved and well cared for. The facility is clean and welcoming, and I appreciate how thoughtful they are about placing pets in the right homes.
The process can take a bit of time, but it’s clear it’s because they want the best for the animals. Overall, a wonderful organization doing important work for our community.
