Pet Grooming

Pet Salon
205 Clock Tower Square, PortsmouthWe're been going to the Pet Salon since 2000 with our pets and we couldn't be happier. They have groomed our cocker spaniel, keeshon and now our poms. Everyone of our pets come out looking like a show dog. Kristin, her sister and everyone who works there loves their work and the pets that come in. We highly recommend them.

Pet Sitting & Training

K9 Instincts
160 Willow Ln, PortsmouthWhat they all did to make my Nico become a well trained much more enjoyable dog is unbelievable. They are all such professionals. From the dog barking when someone walks into the door or beating me out the doorway, taking me for a walk and hold tite if he saw another dog.
ALL those behaviors are gone. I have control of him and any situations whether walking on leash and seeing dogs I have total control.
K9-Instincts is the real deal!!!!
My wife and I thank you all.

Valley Inn Restaurant
2221 W Main Rd, PortsmouthBefore our short vacation to Aquidneck Island, I checked out the reviews for various restaurants in both Portsmouth and Middletown. Valley Inn caught my attention both for the high ratings and the fact that a small stuffed quahog (aka stuffie) was included with entrees. We found the restaurant situated in the cellar of an older house a bit creepy though we quickly settled in. Each of use chose swordfish as entree served over mashed potatoes and crispy asparagus. Also included were 2 dinner rolls, a high quality salad and aforementioned stuffie. The pieces of swordfish were almost enough to serve two and perfectly prepared.

Grand Bellevue Rail Dining Experience
2 Alexander Rd, PortsmouthMy family and I had an amazing time at the Grand Bellevue Rail Dining Experience! We traveled all the way from Florida because I’ve always wanted to experience a murder mystery train, and they did not disappoint.
From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was welcoming and professional. The performers were outstanding—they kept everyone engaged, made the experience interactive, and had us laughing and guessing throughout the evening. Their acting was incredible and really brought the mystery to life.
I went with my husband and our adult children (all over 21), and we all had a fantastic time. The dinner was delicious, and the wait staff provided excellent service. Every member of the team was exceptional and made us feel like valued guests.
The train was clean, the scenery along the route was beautiful, and the entire experience was well organized from start to finish. Between the delicious food, amazing performances, friendly staff, and breathtaking views, this was an unforgettable evening.
I was also excited to hear they are expanding their experiences with fun new themed events, including a Dirty Santa show and a party train. I only wish I lived closer so I could enjoy all of their upcoming train adventures! Thankfully, I have family nearby, so I know I’ll be back to visit—and to make even more wonderful memories aboard the train.
If you’re thinking about booking the Grand Bellevue Rail Dining Experience, don’t hesitate—you won’t be disappointed! We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return.

Kaffeology
8 Russo Rd, PortsmouthWe stopped here for a family breakfast on a mid-Sunday morning and it was a treat that required a little patience. The atmosphere is modern and simple with large plants serving as a barrier which was a very nice touch. The food and drinks were fantastic and creative. One surprise favorite was the matcha. The only drawback, mostly due to the fact that it was a Sunday morning, was the speed of service as they were clearly understaffed. That said, they were friendly, helpful, and worked hard.

The Gulf Stream Bar and Grille
1 Lagoon Rd, PortsmouthThis is a great place, sitting outside with the water and the boats in view. But the food was fantastic! We got the hush puppies, a stuffee, the crab sandwich and the clam chowder soup with the rum. And speaking of rum, they have so many choices including flights. We couldn't have asked for more. I am so glad we stopped by.
