They offer guided tours for visitors of the hidden underground tunnels if you've got the time. We took the opportunity to enjoy the 2 mile walking path to enjoy some excellent panoramic views of the harbor views.”

“Booked last minute lunch reservations a few days ago and are so happy we did. What a gorgeous view! Upon arrival we opted to sit at the bar and our bartender whose name escapes me was wonderful, we never had to wait for a thing. We had the crab dip app, my husband had the chicken cordon bleu and I had a burratta sandwich. My husband fawned over his chicken dish - ranked it as one of his favorites ever! And the salads served with the entrees - so, so good. My non-veggie loving hubbie cleaned his plate. The only reason for the 4 stars vs. 5 is this: there was a major problem with yellow jackets everywhere - our bartender got stung while taking care of us and other staff mentioned being stung multiple times. People had to cover their food and their drinks and other folks elected to leave altogether. If someone is allergic, I'm sure they would have been very unhappy. We realized this issue within minutes of sitting down and had not yet ordered our food, and we asked the hostess if we could have our table that we had originally booked. Her response was cavalier at best saying if we didn't want to deal with the bees, we'd have to wait 45 minutes because our table was no longer available, even though we arrived 20 minutes prior to our reservation. So, we were somewhat on edge and worried about being stung. The small battery operated fans to keep them away were a great idea, but the two in our area of the bar had dead batteries. The bee problem is a health and safety issue and we found it surprising that the inn was not able to manage the issue with professional intervention. But, all in all, a wonderful place, lovely service, great food - we look forward to visiting again. In non-bee season!”

“Our wedding at Oceancliff completely exceeded our expectations. Everyone on their team was incredibly professional, organized, and polite. They were transparent throughout the entire process while also being responsive and supportive. You can tell their team takes a deep sense of pride and responsibility in making your day as special as it can be. Amanda, Allison, Nick, Stephen, John, were all incredible and our guests noticed the level of excellence that they functioned at. Food was also amazing. It is worth the investment to have your wedding at Oceancliff.”

“We have been going to the Holiday Inn in South Kingstown, RI since the early 90’s with our kids and now getting to share memories with our grandson. Always a fun time as we just love how centrally located it is to everything that we like to do and the beautiful pool is an extra bonus. We were very happy to see that the rooms were renovated and clean. But, what really impressed us was the front desk team who were so friendly and always wanting to make sure our stay was perfect in every way. JASON, CHRISSY, SAM AND MARIA all deserve a shoutout for providing us with your wonderful hospitality. We are looking forward to summer of 2027.”

“We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina in late August, and the evening was honestly perfect. We used the back marina space, which was such a beautiful setting. Going into the event, we weren’t completely sure what to expect based on some of the communication during the planning process, but the team absolutely knocked it out of the park on the day of. Everything was set up beautifully and ran so smoothly, and we were able to just relax and have the best time with our family and friends. The food was great, the service was wonderful, and the staff working the event were incredibly gracious. They were constantly checking in with us throughout the evening to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and that we were happy. We felt so well taken care of. We can’t speak to the hotel rooms since we didn’t stay there or see them, but we would absolutely recommend the Newport Harbor Hotel for hosting an event, especially in the outdoor marina space. We are so grateful to the team for making everything come together so beautifully!”
