“The atmosphere was absolutely perfect for my book launch. I celebrated the release of my debut novel, The Heart I Found, published under my own imprint, Lynne Books, and this venue could not have been a more meaningful fit. Lynne Books stands for reflection, healing, and the honest, imperfect journey of personal growth. What better place to reflect than by the water—or in the woods? This space gives you a little bit of both, and it created such a beautiful backdrop for the evening. We were also lucky enough to get a stunning sunset, with the sky changing throughout the night, which made the whole experience feel even more special. The venue alone is worth it, but on top of that, the staff made everything so easy. They were responsive, helpful, and supportive from start to finish. I would highly recommend this venue and will absolutely be using it again someday!”

“The go-karts here are very fast and gives you a great adrenaline rush. Time Mission is also so much fun (reminds me a bit of Level 99). There are 25 creative rooms that you try to score the most points in. Each room has a cool theme and uses different skill sets to play. We had a lot of fun as a team of 2 solving puzzles together. We killed 2hrs here easily. They say each room can accommodate groups of 4, but I think 4 people might feel too squished and chaotic. Some rooms smelled musky and could use a good deep clean. We recommend coming to R1- there’s a variety of activities all in one place!”

“I attended a benefit here and everything was wonderful! The only detractor was that the outdoor lighting along the walking paths by the function hall weren't lit when exiting the building and walking to the parking lot at about 9:15 pm. I almost took a tumble. Please make sure your outdoor lighting is on when people are exiting your buildings in the dark!”

“We had my mom's 70th birthday party over the weekend and I'm so glad we went with this space. The room was perfect for the mid-century vibes we aimed for since it was a 70s party. The space was ample, the staff incredibly helpful and people were at the bar the whole time. I had a fantastic old fashioned. We got nothing but praise for choosing and building the themed party around this space. 10/10 would do it again. Thank you to the wonderful team at MWM for facilitating a dream birthday celebration for my mom. We are eternally grateful.”

The DJ is wonderful and almost all the staff members are super friendly and know us by name which is very welcoming. We always have a wonderful time. Food was priced very competitively, was good and plentiful, and they allowed us to bring in our own food without additional charges. Bartenders were good, and helpful. Ample parking. Would recommend this space for any large function, and would definitely book this hall again.”

“Yeimy and her team did such an amazing job with the decoration and preparation for my mother’s 50th ( 50 shades of pink ) birthday celebration. Yeimy, the owner, was great with communication from beginning to end, and she truly did everything I expected and more. The setup was absolutely beautiful. Everything looked exactly how I wanted it and exactly how I pictured it. This was my first time planning an event with my sibling, and Yeimy helped make the entire process so much easier and less stressful. It was also a pleasure meeting her husband at the event. He made sure the bar area was perfect, showed amazing hospitality, and made everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. This is definitely a place you would want to book for a birthday, celebration, or any special event. The service was great, the atmosphere was warm, and they really made us feel taken care of. “House tours were $8. The people volunteering are very nice! They do reenactments & weddings. The owner goes out of his way, the best he can to please every person. He is very kind and funny. This place is well kept up and historic history is well preserved and showing for people to see in great condition. I highly recommend this place for an event or for photographers to have photo sessions on. Lots of nice spots to take pictures. Photographers will be added to their vendor list if you'd like for future events. There are bridges, old stone walls, a pond, all sorts of beautiful trees and barn to take lovely pictures by. Plus the house has such charm for great photos. Big grounds for large events, with plenty of room for parking. About 23 acres I was told. I highly recommend this place!”

The store itself is beautifully organized and very well stocked. We were especially excited to find items that our council in Texas doesn’t carry, which made the visit even more special.
