It's always a fun time to walk here and the factory living and working center they're located in is beautiful for the city to revitalize an old mill!!!!!!”

“The selection of books is diverse. The quality of the used books I saw was quite impressive - I purchased a 60 year old textbook that looks almost pristine. There's also a display of merch from the Unemployed Philosopher's Guild, which instantly adds tremendous appeal. The prices are competitive- we spent less than $7 and came away with two books and a really cute set of fridge magnets.The store itself is bright, well laid out, and tidy. The staff are friendly and professional - they're made sure we were attended to without being overly present, and they offered to special order something we couldn't find.My favorite part of the experience, however, was Fred. We love Fred. Please say hi to him for us.”

“It was cool. The tarot card reader was okay, nice lady, and she said a few interesting things. I think the reading was pretty good and mostly entertaining. I bought a few gemstones while I was at the shop. They had a pretty good selection, display items and jewelry too. I recommend supporting the business. Give them a try.”
“Had an excellent experience. My girlfriend and I came here to browse the books and get some small plates to share. The atmosphere is fantastic and you can browse the shelves forever. The food we had was great and the staff was nice and considerate enough to include bigger portions because they knew we were sharing. The short ribs were fantastic, as was my glass of house red! I left with two books, one of which i found in the staff recommendations section, highly reccomend”

“Super cute little romance bookstore! They had a ton of different sub-genre options, even a closed door section which is nice for those who don’t like explicit scenes. Various other items for sale like stickers, sweatshirts, tote bags, bookmarks, and greeting cards. Street parking can be tricky but we found a spot easily. Can’t wait to visit again!”
“Most incredible experience my daughter has ever had. Her goal is to attend Brown, so on vacation we decided to check out the bookstore and grab a souvenir. The staff there was so incredible including one amazing woman who decided to bless it forward. It made the entire vacation. We cannot thank her enough. “Heaven for artists. Everything you need to buy for your project except creativity. Huge paper section. (I bought some Italian paper/prints of flowers, mushrooms, birds, etc for about $6 each that I plan to frame.) They have a huge selection of journals, too. Michaels is a consumerist joke compared to this store. Honestly, you could spend two hours here, salivating.”
“This bookstore is pretty tucked away, and confusing for first time visitors. I’ve used google maps to drive here and it always leaves you up the street. Go down that one way street, across the gated parking lot there’s an opening with a sign up top. Then stay to the left, down the stairs to a shady looking basement—that’s the bookstore.The actual store itself is your run of the mill university bookstore. It’s got affordable school supplies, overpriced snacks and JWU apparel. I’ve picked up all of my textbooks here without a problem, and 5 minutes tops. There’s an older gentleman who works the desk and has for years and he’s very polite and helpful. Ask him for help if you need it.”
“It's an absolute gem! The guy who works there had the audacity to approach me and ask what interests me. I couldn't believe he did that, but once I survived that terrifying experience, I was exposed to some of the best ephemera I'd ever seen. It was as well-curated as some of the best museums you'll ever be in without the whiteness and hostility that usually accompanies those environments.”
