“Jon Opele is running a quality staff who genuinely cares about his Guests. While traveling for business, the location to the airport, the complimentary shuttle that runs every 20 minutes, on-site restaurant, and more make this a must book property.”

“This is a Tapestry hotel by Hilton. It is set in a historic textile mill. Very well done - perfect for people like us where “it is about the hotel”! The service was wonderful - the only drawback is the parking. Hard to navigate - across the street and a limited unloading area. We arrived in the dark - it was a challenge! The restaurant is excellent. We plan to stay here again.”
“Absolutely satisfied with my one-night stay last weekend. The room was very clean and looks recently updated. I checked carefully and saw no mold or mildew, and the caulking around the sink and shower/tub looked newer. The tub was nearly clean enough for a soak. The shower had hot water with good pressure, which I appreciated.
The microwave and mini fridge were spotless, and the carpet was clean enough that I felt comfortable walking barefoot. I really like the layout with the sink and mirror, hair dryer outside the shower/toilet area—very convenient when more than one person is getting ready. The full-length mirror was also a nice touch.
The bed and bedding were very comfortable, with nice fluffy pillows. Towels were a bit thin but fresh, clean, and smelled properly laundered (bleach clean)—not worn or tattered. The amenities were La Coupe brand, which I appreciate because they use refillable dispensers and reduce plastic waste.
There are blackout curtains, though you can hear traffic/ road noise, and the walls are a bit thin, so I could hear faint neighboring guests talking. That said, I was so tired it didn’t bother me.
I really appreciated the hot and cold breakfast bar, which had plenty of options:
scrambled eggs, sausage patties, baked potatoes, hard-boiled eggs, bagels, bread, muffins, butter and jam, oranges, bananas, juice, coffee, water, and packets of Quaker instant oatmeal. There was also a self-serve yogurt machine where you squeeze fresh yogurt and add your own toppings, plus a pancake machine (just press a button—no pouring batter). It was everything we needed for a filling and hearty breakfast, and the breakfast area was clean.
I went to breakfast around 6:10 a.m., so I can’t comment on whether it gets crowded later, but there seemed to be plenty of seating. My only wish is that they offered decaf tea, since we don’t drink coffee or caffeine.
I didn’t use the airport shuttle, but I did see a large shuttle van outside early in the morning.
The lobby could use more decor to look more inviting, but that didn’t matter to me since the room was clean and breakfast was good. Parking is complimentary, there’s a small and clean 24-hour gym with free weights and cycle machine accessible by key card with a water dispenser, and laundry machines take quarters ($2.50 wash / $2.50 dry). If they have an indoor pool that would have really made my day!
Service was neutral—nothing remarkable either way.
Stayed in room 318. The only elevator takes a few mins at times but not too bad.
I paid $96 plus tax ($127 total) through a blind deal on Priceline in. I usually stay at Hyatt/ Marriott/ Hilton properties and therefore didn’t earn points here, but for the price, this was the best value I’ve found in the area.”

“I attended a conference at the hotel and genuinely enjoyed my stay. The customer service is EXCELLENT! I was pleasantly and consistently impressed by the staff and their responsiveness - from the front desk to the cleaning crew - everyone was professional, hospitable, and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was reasonable and well worth it. Next time I am in Rhode Island, I will stay at this Omni. I appreciate you all!”
“The hotel was truly breathtaking!
The reception when I walked in was commendable and set the tone for a phenomenal stay. They gratefully acknowledged me as a valued customer, complemented by a thoughtful gift bag. The room was fabulous, boasting a stunning view of the harbor. I visited the bar and savored a delicious drink. Although breakfast was not included, it was nothing short of amazing. You could have included the breakfast, but I wasn't sure if I would be hungry. The server was an absolute delight. They had continental breakfast, buffet... all delicious. The bartender was amazing, got to love Italians. He was from Sicily and he was so pleasant! Made my day! Should I say night... he was cheerful, friendly and deserving of a promotion!!”
“First it’s a boutique hotel so it’s going to be quirky. Room was small but I expected that. No drawers to put my clothes but the decor was different and interesting. Close to everything and the staff is amazing. Check out the speak easy and the karaoke bar.”
“Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The only major flaw is the parking and the fact that they have valet, which is insane to me. So just understand you’ll be parking yourself and logging your luggage to and from the hotel. Other than that, they’re great.”
“Awesome staff and management, perfectly clean rooms, no bad smalls it's awesome. Bring a night time sleep noise speaker. I'll be back here for sure! The owners helped me out so much they rock!”

“The staff were great. As soon as we checked in they were very courteous and gave us great advice for the area. Gave us a late check-out because of my daughter's cheerleader schedule. Room looked brand new. Very clean. We will book this property again.”

“I recently stayed at the Econo Lodge Cranston - Providence and had a really solid experience. The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway at 101 New London Ave, making it super easy for travelers, truckers, or anyone passing through the Providence area. Check-in was quick and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed — good bed, reliable WiFi, and a decent TV. The bathroom was spotless, and the hot water was plenty strong. For the price, this place offers excellent value. It’s quiet enough at night, and I appreciated the easy parking right outside my room.
If you’re looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly stay with good basics and a convenient location, I highly recommend the Econo Lodge Cranston. I’d definitely stay here again on future trips through Rhode Island.
Highly recommended! ?”
“Not sure why this place has such a low rating. The employees are incredibly kind and warm. The bathrooms don't have the mirror and sink outside of the bathroom like alot of hotels here do. The bathtub stopper isn't working in my room, but I just use rags to stop it from draining. The potatoes at breakfast seem to me like they need to be cooked more, but I'm not sure if they're technically undercooked or not. It is wheelchair friendly and professional and clean here with alot of space in the rooms. I think they've had issues in the past with wild children, so there are rules posted in the elevators about not letting them be loud and play hide and seek in the hotel. If you appreciate the quiet, it's a good thing. The key cards have never had any issues here, which is common for alot of places.”
“This is basic accommodation. Safe, clean, and convenient for my single night's stay. There was a TV, microwave, and mini-fridge in the room. I didn't use any of them. This is not a place to stay any longer than living out of a suitcase.
There was no coffee maker in the room but a Newport Creamery across the road is a source of good coffee and a tolerable breakfast.
The room looked to be recently painted and smelled slightly of cleaning products. The bed was made with clean linens. It was comfortable and I slept well. The window on my room overlooked some woods that ensured privacy.
The bathroom was very clean and had a tub/shower. The toilet seat was a bit loose, but not a problem for me.
All in all, a step above Motel Six. If you go in with that expectation, you will not be disappointed.”

“Location is great- 10 min to Downtown Providence/ Airport. Desk Manager got me in quick & directed me on where to park & find my room. A/C worked well, queen size bed with clean bedding. Free Showtime & WiFi in room. People mentioned a bad odor, but I didnt notice that at all. Some of the main doors dont lock, but the room doors do. I was very pleased with the amenities for the price.”

“This hotel is with in walking distance to the convention center. Starbucks is on the way as well. Parking is tricky and it was so much easier to park in the lot across the street. Bummed the rooms didn't have microwaves or mini fridges but the rooms were clean, towels were stocked and house keeping was amazing.”
“Had a wonderful stay! The staff was super friendly, and the amenities were top-notch. Loved the cozy atmosphere and the convenient location, making it easy to explore nearby attractions.”
