Every time I walk into this South State Bank location, I feel like I’m visiting family. The ladies here and the one cool guy too ? have been consistently kind, genuine, and full of light since the very first time I came over a year ago. They always ask about my kids, offer lollipops, share laughs, and treat me like more than just an account — they treat me like a human being.
Today, I had the honor of meeting Tina, the branch manager, and she’s everything I imagined: thoughtful, warm, and truly invested in her team and customers. I bragged on her staff, and they proudly introduced her — and rightly so. When a great leader is in the building, you can feel it in the culture.
To the entire staff: you’ve been a quiet part of my journey, and I’ll never forget the way y’all have made me feel every visit. I said it in person and I’ll say it here — I can’t keep y’all a secret forever. The world needs to know how excellent this team really is.

“Huge shout out to Security Federal Bank, 1705 Whiskey Rd.We are moving to Aiken by the end of Oct and wanted to open a bank account before the move. Laura Angelos and Wes Johnikin spent at least an hour each walking us through the online application process. They were so helpful and patient as we encountered some hiccups.”
