“Ethan at Enterprise Rent-A-Car (Charleston Airport location) was very helpful when we returned our car after our girls’ trip! We had a few concerns and questions regarding the car and he answered them and explained everything with ease. He took care of us and was very friendly and professional!”
“The rental experience from Thrifty was fine, as was the vehicle! Renting a car from this airport is a bit of a pain because you have to jump onto a shuttle to get to the locations of each rental company to pick up your car. It ads extra time to the process.”

“I booked a rental truck with this location before I saw the reviews and was a little nervous about the experience I might have but I had absolutely no issues getting my rental. The lady at the desk was nice and worked quickly. I can see why many people leave low ratings just for the fact the "reservation" is not actually guaranteed, but that is the fault of the company and it sets the service personnel up for failure. My main issue with this specific location is it difficult to find. It is located inside the Citadel Mall but there is no signage outside to tell you where to go, I just went in the closest entrance to where I saw a bunch of Budget trucks parked and found it that way. They could definitely make it easier to find. I was also concerned that there is no official review of the truck's condition once it is in your possession. Personnel did not review it with me and there is no online portal to post pictures of the condition you received it in, which is an unnecessary liability for the customer, they could blame damage you for damage you did not cause.”

“Upon arrival the morning of Sunday, August 17, 2025, we were greeted by a lovely lady by the name of Dee. She was kind, accommodating and helpful. After some confusion regarding the payment and booking of our car rental at the Charleston Airport Budget Car Rental location the previous day, Dee was able to rectify the issue for us quickly and effectively due to her professionalism and understanding of better business practices. The customer service that we received at Budget Car Rental at 390 Meeting Street was greatly appreciated after the confusion at the airport. Dee also made sure to ask whether or not we had a good car seat for our young son. We left feeling relieved and ready to enjoy our much awaited 10 day family vacation in South Carolina.”

He helped me in identifying the best rental options available given that it was a last minute rental/having not made a reservation prior to engaging with him.
