“We passed by this place and decided to check it out. This is a bulk item store with many grocery products and supplies. The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are not full retail, but comparable to Sam's Club. The real gem of this store was the candy room! It was amazing!! Full of many vintage candies and all my current favorites.”

“I have known the owners and operators of the V-Go stations since their first day open and let me tell you to this day they treat me like family with nothing but kindness and respect. They all have gone out of their way to get me products they may not have carried, to letting me pay them back later when I didn't have enough money for my purchases. ALWAYS friendly and helpful I will look continue to support these people and their businesses for the rest of my life. They should be very proud of what they have accomplished here in Charleston. “Prices kinda high but there's a foot long sub for $5 and 6 inch sub for $5 n some change. Doesn't make since lol but I like going here they got a good bit of items. The fountain sodas tho the only one that was good was the mug rootbeer”

“This gas station get much customers that come through its doors however even though the store is clean the bathrooms be horrible. My bladder for some reason always works around this place and this is where I sometimes have to stop cuz it's convenient but I've seen pregnancy tests on the floor tissue is always on the floor for it not to have any napkins there's always something on the floor and it has a smell they need to put some type of deodorizer in there.”
“VGO on Saint Andrews Boulevard in West Ashley is a great place to go for gas and a convenience store when you need that quick and fast stop. I like that they have quality gas without ethanol at a really good value and it is easy to get in and out of the location. The store is well managed and the staff here is very helpful and accommodating.”
“Did not disappoint! My wife and I are on the hunt to find the best food this great city has to offer. Charlie's was on a short list for us as far as Deli's go.. so we made a trip late this Saturday morning. We ordered The Colossal on an everything bagel (for myself) and the BEC on a Kaiser roll (the wifey's). Although there was nothing that sent me over the moon about my sandwich, I was quite happy and very much enjoyed it. My wife's sandwich on the other hand left something to be desired.. I tried a bite after scarfing mine down, and found it mildly disappointing that there was such a difference between our two sandwiches. I personally believe that the bagel made much better for a breakfast sandwich, and that The Colossal is just that much better. If I could give a 3.5 rating, I would. If you're going for the breakfast sandwiches, I would definitely recommend The Colossal on an everything!”

“Wow, we finally get a modern, reliably open 24hr, clean, well stocked staffed mini-mart this side of the connector, and 3 stars with people b!tching about the service? First, your not out for a night at the ritz. Simple, walk into store, select items, complete transaction, move along. Avoid interruptions to this seemingly simple system - everything stays convenient.
Second, I’ve never found the staff to be anything but delightful - as charming as I would expect at 2am to take my money in exchange for a tall boy and cigs.
Don’t forget - what we’ve consistently had on this side of James and John’s, whackamole to see which 24hr store was going to actually be open past 10pm.

“A decent enough little gas station. Decent selection of snacks, sodas and beer. The cashier was polite and friendly. Good location. Easy in and out at the pumps. The store itself was clean and well organized.”

“Jds Market on Rutledge Avenue in Charleston is good convenience store for everything that you need in a convenience store. The location is easy to get in and out of when you are in the area. The staff here is always friendly and accommodating. Good experience every time I have been here.”
“Only went In to use the bathroom real quick so bathroom wise and from what I seen walking passed everything. It's a very nice and clean place. You can order food to be made n to go. Not sure what you can order or the prices for anything but seems like a real nice gas station”

“I'm from Spain and I'm in Charleston for a few days for work. I was in this store this afternoon to buy some souvenir gifts for my family. I was served by a black girl, a little taller than me, with long braided hair and very kind and pleasant. When I made the bill to pay, I had a problem with my credit card being able to pay due to the trip. After a while trying to solve the problem, I couldn't do it and I apologized to the girl for it. My partner, who was next to me, paid for his purchase and I apologized again for my problem with the card to which this girl made a very nice gesture towards me that I would never have expected. I would like this message to reach her and for her to read it. If you read it, I want to thank you very much for your gesture towards me. I have been able to solve the problem with the card and if I can stop by the store these days before returning to Spain, I will personally thank you. Thank you very much for having such a nice gesture with me. There should be more people like you in the world.”
“love the porch here and all the kinds of good food and drink they have here. they got burgers, pizza, chicken sandwiches, sausage biscuits (although they are always out of stock because of how good they are, at least when i go there) and more, also the boiled peanuts are good and they take all kinds of payment so that's never an issue. overall great place they just better keep those sausage biscuits in stock all day”

“This is by far the best Mexican food in Charleston. I used to think El Molino was the best but this place is much better. Their burrito’s are outstanding! They make everything fresh you may have to wait a bit but the wait is well worth it. Highly recommend!”
