My ONE complaint is that they allow PETS to come into the store! Which puts legitimate service dog teams at RISK.
After speaking to a manager about how a large husky puppy had just lunged at my REAL service dog, she informed me that employees were NOT ALLOWED to ask questions of customers who bring in animals! "Company policy."
Legitimate service dogs are passive! So, being attacked by a PET places the service dog and handler in danger.
PETS do NOT have public access rights. Neither do "comfort animals". Only legitimate service animals, who perform a task for their handler.
Distracting a service dog could cause them to miss a cue to action! This could have DEADLY consequences for the handler!
So, I ask you, Lowe's Foods:
Would you rather tick off a customer by asking if their animal is a service dog & what task does it perform for your disability?
Or be SUED because your policy allowed a PET to attack a legitimate service dog who in turn missed the incoming heart attack or seizure?
People. Please. Leave your PETS at home. Somebody's life may depend on it.”
