I was having issues with logging into the pharmacy and the receptionist went up and above to help me.. Everyone there is so pleasant and nice . And of course Dr Brown is so sweet and knowledgeable. We were a little worried about our elderly chihuahua (adopted when a family member passed away) because she has never been boarded. She had so much fun - she threw a fit because she did not want to leave the group playtime! Thank you for taking such great care of our babies!

We used AI to tell us where to go - the best places to go and the best routes to travel - since we are from Chicago and don’t know the area. This place was listed as the “don’t-miss grand finale” so it was last on the list, and it was by far our favorite place. The meats, sauces, and cheese muffins were all delightful. We were served by a guy named Johnny who couldn’t have been nicer. He treated us like guests but also like family - a great way to experience southern hospitality along with delicious cooking. The funny thing is, when we stopped at our first location (some other meh spot that shall remain nameless) - the guy who served us asked about our crawl and wanted to know where we were stopping. We told him - and he tried to talk us out of stopping at Jim n’ Nick’s!! He gave us the name of another spot that he said was superior. Thank goodness we didn’t listen. Thanks, Johnny and team, for the wonderful food and the great service. We bought barbecue sauce to bring home (and some to give away as gifts too). We are big fans and will be back one day. Note: ours was a carry-out order like all the others on our crawl. So these pics are not basically from an hour later in carryout containers. Try the Mac n cheese bombs stuffed with pork!!

6257 Carolina Commons Dr, Indian LandIf you’re looking for great BBQ catering in the Indian Land / Fort Mill / South Charlotte area, I cannot recommend 521 BBQ enough.
We recently hosted a housewarming party for about 80 people, and this location of 521 BBQ absolutely knocked it out of the park. The food was outstanding — authentic, flavorful barbecue that had people going back for seconds (and thirds). The pulled pork, brisket, and sides were a huge hit and multiple guests asked where the food came from because they loved it so much.
What really stood out though was the owners at this location. They were incredibly helpful, responsive, and clearly care about doing things the right way. Catering for a group this size isn’t easy, but they made the entire process smooth and stress-free and delivered an amazing experience for our guests.
I know there are a couple restaurants with the same name that sometimes get mixed together in reviews, so I want to be clear — this 521 BBQ location is fantastic. If you need BBQ catering, event catering, or just some of the best barbecue around Indian Land and Fort Mill, they are absolutely worth it.
Huge thank you to the team at 521 BBQ for helping make our party such a success. We’ll definitely be back.
