“Decent so far.. Had a few hiccups at first trying to deposit a check from the treasury. Even though we weren’t initially told that new accounts that have physical checks deposited could be held up to 10 business days. We found that out by calling Member services which were not much help at all. Considered closing account at first But i went back to the bank and Amber Seal was great! She’s friendly. Very helpful and transparent about what’s going on. And she tried her best to help us out at the branch. While my experience with customer service was trash. Because they kept causing more issues with the check being held. Telling me that new accounts have a longer hold time for physical deposits, and the $500 shouldn’t have been available to me. while this check was for medical purposes. Even after verification to realease. Customer service kept giving me the same answer. The branch could only do but so much. But their customer service is excellent. But realistically, I am aware all banks have their own rules and regulations. Especially for fraud but My only issue was. The customer shouldn’t be blindsided and punished by information that was not given to them at the time. Especially if they can prove that it wasn’t. (Receipt saying funds available in 2 business days) When the check was handed to the branch. $500 was available immediately and was told and even showed the funds at the branch in the app 2 days later. and 0.00 in the account (General Hold) was never told anything about this. I will see how banking goes from here on out. But so far customer support on the phone. Not the way to go.”

I didn’t catch the names of the other lovely ladies who helped me (one had beautiful locs and the other had the most stunning fro!), but I want to thank each of you for your kindness and warmth. One team member even went out of his way to share information about a local apartment, which was so thoughtful. It took about 2 working wks to get resolved. I like the fact that they alert me to fraud while traveling or in general. Great bank with great people.”
