We were on a road trip and so far from home when a tire laying in the middle of a highway led us to needing to find a car shop ASAP. We randomly pulled in and the gentlemen all turned to us and said how can we help you. At that point my husband explained what had happened and that we are from out of town and instead of saying sorry we are full or too busy and sending us away. “Doug Wilson of Aussie Automotives is My Hero!!! I was driving from Rock Hill to Jacksonville and each mile I lost cooling power in my AC. It was bad enough for me, but I had my long-haired cat with me who was on the verge of heatstroke. I called several other car repair shops in the area, and no one could assist me. When I called Aussie. Doug immediately told me to come on over and he would see what he could do.
When I first walked in. cat in his carrier, Doug let his partner know, so he could contain his dog. Doug made sure we were both ok before he looked at the car. He walked me through what he was doing and about 20 minutes later, my car had freon and was able to cool! During this, Doug kept us company and made sure we were comfortable. His kindness made my day.

“We hit something on I95 that put a hole in our oil pan. This was Sunday morning. With nothing open I drove to the closest repair shop with good reviews before my oil ran out. We made it to A-1. I left my car there after talking to an amazing tow driver named Chris. He gave me piece of mind that I was in the right place and drove me to the hotel where my family was staying for the night.
Monday morning I went back to A-1 and was taken care of by Steve. Steve and his crew were exceptional. At a very reasonable price, they had me back on the road by Monday afternoon. If you need any service, go here. I thank them with all my heart that our vacation was not ruined!!”

The 2nd was a 18 wheeler retread that a suv on the interstate had kicked up from the edge of the road. ? Fun experience. Poping out my rear quarter panel, fixing the bumpers and installing the new front lip. They got her looking new again.”
