“Staybridge suites by IHG has become one of our top picks to stay. As soon as you walk in you can tell that things were done right, super clean rooms. The breakfast in the morning is probably the best breakfast I've had at a hotel.”
“Great hotel with a great location to good restaurants and shopping - Sams Club, Walmart, and TJ Maxx. Breakfast was great, however they were short-staffed on housekeeping. Our room was not refreshed. They provided towels, coffee, and trash pickup if you ask the front desk for the service. We recommend Minervas and Dakotahs for restaurants.”
“Short but lovely stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Rapid City, SD. Took advantage of the in house Resturant for dinner. Got upgraded to a nice larger room with a sitting area - thank you Hilton Garden Inn. Staff was friendly and helpful when checking in and out.”
“Just passing thru. Great room for having pets with us. Usually we get icky and smelly rooms. Very clean and smelled like it was freshly cleaned. Decent doggy potty area and convenient to Mount Rushmore”

“1. Poor Front Desk Service: The girl at the reception desk during check-in was incredibly unwelcoming and inattentive. She was busy on her phone and seemed completely uninterested in doing her job. Management should consider diversity awareness and customer service training for her.
2. Room Delays & Poor Communication: We arrived early at 2:00 PM, so we understood why our room wasn't ready. However, the receptionist promised it would be ready in 30 minutes and said they would notify us. By 3:15 PM, we were still waiting. We were told they were short two staff members, but the real issue was that the receptionist failed to pass her commitment along to housekeeping.
3. Terrible Housekeeping: We went three days without housekeeping. We had specifically requested daily service, which was promised but ignored. To make matters worse, instead of giving us fresh towels, the staff just refolded our wet, used towels—which was disgusting. I complained to the receptionist, but nothing was fixed the next day.”

“True confession…I have not stayed at this motel myself but I do know who is working HARD to remodel and improve it. Donna is a fabulous designer; her and John are great people and I know when they are finished, it will be absolutely beautiful. Rapid City is fortunate to have business owners who take pride in their business. Great changes are started, to be completed soon!”
“So happy & fortunate in finding this place, we call it home for now, while me & my wife are here in town for a project.
The office people are so friendly & kind (Stacie) shes always sending tex messages to notify us bout everything. Place is secured with cameras & clean. Laundry room down stairs clean & always functioning.
So if your looking for a place, look no more, Avanti Apt. Are always welcoming good people.?

“The location of this hotel was excellent, close to everything. The room was clean and well maintained no issues with that. Front desk staff professional and cordial.

“Nice hotel, although our fridge didn't work. They wouldn't let us check in until 3. It was 2:30.Then I had to stand in line for 10 minutes. There were kids running up and down the hall, screaming at 10:30 at night. That woke me up. So not my favorite stay. But, it was a nice place.”

“I loved my stay at this place. The service is phenomenal with Chastity, Steve and bartender Ari at your service. I felt beyond welcome here. As soon as I walked into the bar, Ari invited me to turn in the candle lights with a wizard wand. It really added to the experience of feeling right at home. Chastity is a wonderful person to talk to and Steve was very accommodating. The security guy, who I had failed to get a name to, was so amazing with recommendations. Everyone here really shows what hospitality means and feeling right at home in your stay. I would definitely stay here if I should be in Rapid City again.”

“I honestly cannot think of any reason to complain nor complaints. Moody, Barbara, and Walter, the three employees that I've met, are very nice and helpful. They will work with you if any issues occur and do what they can to insure a pleasant stay. My stay was very nice and comfortable and I will recommend the Rodeway Inn to everyone.”
“My husband does not have a Google review account, so I will leave the review for him. Best Western has always been very accommodating for him, even when they have had big tournaments. And other guests, they have still been accommodating, they are able to handle all that is going on.And I so appreciate the individual customer service that I get the sleep that I get.I thank you so much for the clemliness.The quietness, it's absolutely wonderful.I so enjoy coming to best.Western and resting before I go and start my day again.Thank you so much for being a nice part of my day?”

“There are many very negative reviews of this hotel, but considering that it's an Econo Lodge, my impression was that it was about average for the brand.
The hotel's shortcomings have already been covered in plenty of other reviews, so I won't repeat them. However, I do think it deserves some credit for its fast Wi-Fi and its breakfast, which included omelets, yogurt, and waffles.”

“Good location. About 30 minutes to Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse monuments. Large fitness center. Had a hard time getting hot water in the shower and there is some highway noise if u get a room facing the highway, but quiet for the most part. They offer discounts to the starbucks close by and u get to pick a free item from their little shop each day of your stay (kids enjoyed the local ice cream that was stocked) , and BOGO drinks at the bar downstairs. Friendly staff and plenty of parking ($10/night)”
