“We've stayed several times and the K Bar S has never let us down. We've recommended it to friends and family and everyone loves it here. Bottom line, when we are visiting the Black Hills we stay here, no exception.Rooms: Every room we've had has been clean and spacious. We prefer staying in the main building but the others are very nice tooNearby activities: Everything you'd plan on seeing or doing in the Black Hills is very close to the K Bar S.”

“What a charming, delicious place! There aren't many highly rated eateries among the cluster that is close to the Mount Rushmore landmark, however this place is just a mile or two outside of that--totally worth it. Powder House (also their lodging) has been around for decades and the patio views are breathtaking. Our server was adorable, energetic and helpful (forgot her name, sorry!). I ordered the Queso burger, subbing a side salad (a little small perhaps) for fries, which was crisp and delicious with (I'm guessing) homemade ranch dressing. The burger's attention to detail included crispy crumbled bacon, crunchy dill pickles, Queso (could have used more imo), jalapenos, and the ever sublime toasted Brioche bun.In the dining room, you'll feel like you're at a cross between a retro ski lodge and vintage log cabin.”

“Cool hotel! 3 storeys with no elevator or luggage cart but stair wells at both ends. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and staff was friendly. No microwave in room though, curtains are blackout but let light in all around and breakfast were grab-n-go brown bags made up the night before.Great location! On the main drag between the Keystone strip mall and the Rushmore Tramway Adventures park.Walkability: Right on the main drag close shopping and restaurants.”

“Spent an evening at Ramada while in the tourist town of Keystone. We made a reservation for the wrong evening but the staff was very accommodating to get us a room. The room and hallways seemed to be a bit compressed and narrow but functional. This also includes the bathroom but it is clean and can make it work. Although, due to the small and narrow area you can really only have one person in the bathroom at a time. This hotel doesn't offer a free breakfast but you do have a number of options within walking distance. No on site restaurants but again within walking distance of a number of places to eat. Very close to Mt Rushmore along with other tourist attractions. Reasonably priced in comparison to other hotels within Keystone or other small towns close by. Parking spaces near the hotel which are shared with other businesses.”
