“Convinced this is the best Walmart in the state if not the nation. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Well stocked and organized. Spacious aisles and setup. This store especially shines in the pickup portion of the business. Each time I pull up, it's less than 5 minutes from the time I shift to park and the time I'm driving away with all of my items responsibly packaged. Everything is clean and the people who bring out the order are awesome. They always check to make sure any substituted items are okay. I thought this was the norm until I did a pickup order at another Walmart in a bigger city and it was a 25 minute wait despite the order having been ready for a bit; that's not a complaint as I know how things can be having worked retail in the past and I do not fault them. However, it makes me extra appreciative of the wonderful staff at my local store. The whole store staff of Vermillion should be proud of the work they do, but the pickup order staff especially deserve a shoutout! Thank you for great service each and every time. It does not go unnoticed in a small community.”

“If you want to be treated as family at a major grocery store in a small town- this is the place. Talk about "...where everybody knows your name!" This store that serves this little town works hard to keep those shelves full, but more important, is the value they put on customer service. Whether the staff has known you for years (hello! lol) or just met you in your first year at USD- be sure you'll always find help when you need it. Mary, Kathy, Suzanne (best sushi!) Mr. Wizard (the guy knows EVERYTHING)- take a bow...and all the helpful staff there at Vermillion HyVee, especially the crew in the meat /deli department- they have a great sense of humor, huh, Troy? LOL! 5 stars across the board!”

“I want to briefly share my thoughts about Troy who is in the meat department or deli. I spoke with Troy earlier today about an online order that I was trying to place and have delivered. I was having a bit of trouble placing the order for delivery and Troy told me that he would ensure that it was taken care of. He was aware that these food trays were for two families that had an unexpected loss of a family member. On his own accord Troy called me back later this afternoon asking if I was able to place the orders. I told him I was and he asked when I would like them delivered? I told him that I was hoping to get them delivered tomorrow but that the only option online was for Thursday afternoon delivery. Without hesitation told me don't worry about it, I'll take care of it and personally ensure that they are both delivered tomorrow morning. He went way out of his way knowing that this was a difficult time for the families to make sure that these food trays will be delivered tomorrow morning. “This is got to be one of cleanest stores I've seen.. The employees are very refreshing, they are so friendly & Cheerful here.. But the best part of my shopping here was in the pharmacy.. I was lucky to get Austin the pharmacist to do my medicine, since I travel a lot, he was kind to make a couple phone calls, & refilled my medicines.. Great job & what an Asset Walmart has in Austin being the pharmacist..... Too bad other Walmart's don't have a pharmacist Like Austin.....”
