“I have been to several Tj Maxx stores as well as HomeGoods stores, but this is the first time I have been to a combo store. It is larger than any other TJ Maxx or Homegoods I have ever been in, but does seem cramped when trying to pass other customers in the aisles. For such a large store and being busy with tons of customers, it was very neat and organized. As always, it is a great place to get designer name brands at a deal.If you see something you want, you need to get it then because it most likely wont be there when you come back for it. The clothing section seemed a bit smaller than what I am used to seeing at a TJ Maxx, but the home side of things was quite large. I would recommend shopping at this store.”

“I had the single most incredible human experience here last night. It was 1/5/24 about 6pm if this time frame helps find out the name of the employee this post is about. I walked into Marshall’s after a last ditch effort to get my 2 year old to calm down after she had a 30 minute tantrum at home. As soon as we walked in and she got in the cart, she immediately started losing it. Screaming, throwing her crackers all over the ground. A kind employee on her way out (I could tell because she had her purse and was almost out the door) came over and said, “Don’t worry! Don’t worry! I’ll get a broom and clean it up, don’t worry!” I refused because it is certainly not her job to deal with my kid’s tantrum. But she came back with a broom, swept it up, and refused to let me help. Then my daughter continued on with her fit after the woman walked away. I was on my way out the store defeated and the woman walked back over and asked if she could get my daughter some cookies from the break room. The woman walked all the way to the back of the store and came back out with a cup full of cookies. She told me that she has 3 kids, she understands, and that she was not judging me. Tears filled my eyes after the kind woman walked away. Little did she know that I just gave birth a week ago to my premature baby 9 weeks early and he’s currently in the NICU. I was 2 seconds away from breaking down, and this woman’s incredible acts of kindness after she was already off work and had no obligation to help me, encouraged me for the rest of the night and into today. I learned a lot about how to be a helpful human yesterday from this woman! At least 3 other people who saw the tantrum glared at me and gave ugly looks, but this one woman helped in a way that she did not have to. I will forever come back and shop at Marshall’s over any other store in the area.”

“Big lots sure has gotten an upgrade the last couple years. The store has a nice selection of kitchen, house, and bathroom stuff. Have a good bit of furniture. Plus some basic groceries, and some interesting snacks that are nice to pick up for holidays. So a little bit of everything, and they're convenient so I often check there before I check other places.”

“I have always loved Macy's, drove 30+ miles to the Cool Springs store. So frustrating to find cute tops but not full range of sizes. After 5 tries of " you can order it online" and "closest store that has it is near The Villages in FL", I gave up. Next time I will save the gas, order online and return if I have to.”

“We enjoyed our shopping trip together. There was one particular male cashier that was absolutely incredible & took such great care of us, we were quite impressed with him! We had more shopping to do & went away feeling valued.↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓After we finished our other shopping there was an extremely, long wait in line & when it was our turn to be checked out the other male cashier that was due to take care of us was downright rude & started helping someone who wasn't even in line & the someone that he allowed to cut in front of us asked to cancel their transaction so they could go look at other things & afterwards that cashier told us to come on up, {at the same exact time the other cashier that was so wonderful to us was available & we quickly went to his register!!!}.The one cashier was absolutely marvelous & the other one was the extreme, exact opposite!!!We didn't let that one bad occurrence with the one rude & lacking cashier ruin our shopping trip.The great cashier that really knows how to treat his customers & who is doing such an awesome job made up for the awful behavior of the other one!!!”

“Came here after late lunch for some last minute Christmas presents. Store was busy but not crazy Sales staff through out the store were very friendly, curtious and helpful. Especially with trying to get the most of in store discounts. The store was very well stocked and orderly. Much better than a couple other Belks in the surrounding area. But with the holidays, traffic is natroshrous. Get ready for long traffic waits.”

“Honestly I had only been to Big Lots on one other occasion. I was in a rush and I was overwhelmed by to my perception, a bunch of junk crowding the shelves. It was too much to be bothered with so I left.The other day on my visit I was blown away. Totally shocked at how the entire store looked like a showplace. Shelves were stocked. Merchandise was current and fashionable. Prices were clearly marked. They were having a crazy with signs plastered everywhere.The only suggestion I would have is that some of the aisles were a bit too tight.Definitely will add this store to my ? HOT LIST ?”

“One of the nicer Ross's I've been to! EXCELLENT selection of women's shoes and bags. Found several nice dresses. Unfortunately the main fitting rooms were closed and only the two small rooms up front were open. I had to wait a long time in line and the line was even longer when I got out! “If you have been to one Target, then you have been to most of them and this location is your standard Target minus a few of the most modern amenities/adds. Located in Donelson, this Target sits in the middle of a huge shopping plaza along with a variety of eateries and other retailers. Due to its location, parking is beyond plentiful and is never an issue. The store has seen some upgrades to the façade and minor updates to a few areas inside including the addition of a grab and go space. Other than that, the store is still in need of some updates as it is showing its wear a bit. Additionally, this store always seems to be somewhat disorganized to an extent with empty shelves surrounded by full stocking carts, unpriced items and in some cases, poor selection. The other heartbreaking thing about this Target is there is no Starbucks. Overall, I'd live in this Target rather than go to the other big box retailer for one item...while it has it's faults, it is still a Target and I love it!”

“My family and I were visiting from florida, we came in to this location and was so astonished by how organized and neat everything was displayed. We went in for dog food and left with a whole cart of items!! Rex and his fellow female employee were super nice and very helpful ! Definitely should give them two a raise ! “We're a Macy's family! This location always has so many Free People clothes on sale which is amazing and hard to come by. They also have the best home section upstairs. We bought 2 blankets by Ralph Lauren that were 100% cotton on sale. Kiata walked us over the blanket section, helped talk us through which one was the best sellers, and then walked with us back to the counter to check us out. Kiata had such a great personality, was warm and welcoming, and went out of her way to help us find what we needed. Thanks Kiata for showing us what customer service is all about!”

I prefer going when it's less busy, typically around opening time and there just seems to be a lot of pallets in the way of the isles. “I have been to this Ross I think one other time before even tho. It is not close to me I have been going to the one in Smyrna will not be going back to that one either never or for a long time. The last time I was in there it was very dirty stuff was kind of all over the place infact it was all over the place and it had like a strange smell in the back of the store that I couldn’t quite put my finger on it it smelled like something was on fire and the whole store was just really disorganized and that I ended up running out of there so fast with my dog in my hand this store was so much nicer I remember it being nicer and clean and the stuff is organized it was on the shelf’s it wasn’t all over the this will defnt be my go to Ross for now on and the customer service was fantastic so keep up the good work guys I don’t care if any body else tries to say any thing bad cause you guys have the best location That is close to me”
