The training classes have helped both our new puppy and our senior dog who never had training . I am sorry for going so long but this is a great store and Staff . To everyone who works there I didnt list anyone's name other then Taryn because I don't want to leave anyone out Yall are all great and the store always looks like it just grand opened . I promise you if you take your dog in for classes you will not regret it !

393 East Main StSuite 7, HendersonvilleAmazing with my puppy Henry! He usually barks or whines in a kennel. I could tell when I came to pick him up that the people who run this loved on him so much that he felt fully comfortable in his little enclosure; he wasn’t making a peep! They did amazing at his outline cut and he smells so great. As a puppy, he can only have hypoallergenic scents and sometimes that can make him just smell like I bathed him at home. Not at bark Avenue though! Really top-notch dog shampoos even for puppies. I was charged by a place in Nashville 70 dollars when he was less than 25 pounds. He’s now nearing 40 and they charged 95 for full service here at bark Avenue! It’s feels great also knowing the people here genuinely love dogs as they’ve been grooming my parents’ dog for the past months and were highly recommended to me. Their dog is a husky (double coats) and always smells wonderful! Totally worth the money and we will be making the drive to Hendersonville Bark Avenue our routine for years!

240 E Main St Suite C, HendersonvilleI’ve been taking my very anxious pup to Preppy Pet for over 2 years now for boarding and have been so grateful for the wonderful care of the staff and facility. My dog, who isn’t a big fan of strangers, genuinely loves the staff and the staff are so good with her — I can tell as soon as we enter the lobby. I highly recommend their private play option if you have an anxious pup!
Their prices are the most reasonable in the Hendersonville area — shop around and you’ll see! Most places charge $50+ per night, but PP’s range is $30-$40 depending on the kennel size. Their franchise network allows them to keep moderate pricing and still offer a great level of care!
I’ve boarded my dog for both short weekends as well as extensive 2 week stays due to travel. She always does well in PP’s facility. And it truly is saying a lot because she’s not an “easy” dog — she’s high energy, anxious, super sweet but pretty needy. Ha.
If you’re looking for a staff who will take care of your pup and understand their needs, this is it. They also are very flexible with drop off and pick up times for boarding (unsure about their daycare offerings) and if you have something come up and need to change a reservation, they don’t charge you for the change. Great service and crew all around.

I never feel rushed out the door and I feel like their prices are always fair. I always feel like I am getting all of my questions answered and the best care taken for my dogs. Highly recommend.

His understanding of how to treat the pet and pet owner is beyond anything I have ever experienced in all my many years. I have not lived in TN for many years, but I never forgot him and how impressed I was with him. it may be that the current Dr. William Shannon is his son, and not the Dr. Shannon of years ago, but I am sure if that is the case, based on reviews I am seeing, this current Dr. Shannon learned well from his Dad how to be a caring, compassionate and wonderful Doctor. If this is the elder Dr. Shannon - God Bless You. I have never forgotten you and the compassionate care we received in your office.

It has been two years since my golden retriever passed away. Now I'm bringing my new black lab to New Shackle Island Veterinary Hospital. Dr JP helped us this visit, very impressive and empathetic. Top notch care. Highly recommended.

The experience was wonderful. We had regular communication more than once per day along with pictures of our very happy pets. My husband and I are very happy with the service providers and impressed with their passion for the work they perform. Seeing the provider interaction with the animals solidified the choice we made to use the service. We will definitely use them frequently!
