My dog comes back calm and happy. Which is not easy since she’s a nervous pup. Also the cuts have been gorgeous (also not easy because my dog likes to wiggle).
She also comes back NOT stinking of dog perfume, which was my biggest complaint about my last groomer. I’m severely asthmatic and allergic to fragrance and it’s soooo nice having peace of mind knowing I won’t have to go to the ER from someone forgetting and spraying stuff all over my dog.
Can I give ten stars? Because I would. Thank you for being amazing!

They went beyond just being clinically professional — they were genuinely kind, patient, and understanding throughout the entire visit.
Even with our dog being scratchy and volatile, everyone remained calm, reassuring, and supportive. As an owner, that made a huge difference. I never felt judged or rushed; instead, I felt like they truly understood the situation and cared about both my dog’s well-being and my comfort as an owner.
Dr. Thomas took the time to talk through a thoughtful plan to help Winnie feel more comfortable in the office going forward, which I really appreciated. It was clear this wasn’t just about getting through the appointment, but about building a better experience for future visits.

My favorite thing about this veterinary practice, and specifically Dr. McElyea, is how much they educate pet owners. When we got our second cat, they took the time to give us tips on introducing our cats and decreasing aggression. Most recently, Dr, McElyea took the time to brainstorm and share tips of how to help my cat with weight loss. She even calculated the calories per day my cat should be eating and came up with a target weight. I really appreciate the time and effort that the vets put into our cats care. I’d recommend them to anyone in the Nashville area!

I left my three cats in the care of Music City Cats for one week and I was completely blown away by the service. The process to get started is streamlined and professional. They come to your home for an introduction and to gather information. This was so complete, they even asked me things I hadn't even thought to include in the paperwork. They are very detail-oriented which gave me confidence they could take care of my three, even with one cat needing daily medication and other as-needed medications for various health issues. There were contingencies in place for the severe cold weather and power outages we were expected to experience at the time as well (January/Feb 2026). They truly care about the animals well-being and seem adaptable to complications based on our conversations about the weather and reading other client's reviews.
During our trip, I received a thorough update for each scheduled visit complete with pictures of everyone. So, if you schedule two visits a day, you get two updates! If I had questions or concerns, they were addressed rapidly. The communication was great.
This was the first time I have left my cats in the care of someone I didn't know personally. I was very anxious to do so. However, with the regular updates and open communication I was able to truly relax and enjoy my vacation knowing everything was being taken care of at home.
They exceeded my expectations and I will be using them again in the future.

Someone spends the night at this facility which is priceless to my my peace of mind. My dog always looks like he is having a amazing time and I get to see him on video during his play time. When we pull up to the building he gets super excited ... which tells me he has an amazing experience here. I get daily updates from the staff and everyone is always so helpful. You will immediately notice too that there is so much staff there caring for and looking after the dogs. They do not skimp on oversight. I also love that he has tons of safe/secure yard space to romp around on his play outings. He gets to go outside for his play / social breaks 5x's a day, while still having his own little room too. He can also get spa treatment (ie grooming) while he is there. So convenient. He comes home looking all spiffy and smelling amazing. I cannot say enough great things about this dog resort and their staff too. I feel so thankful I found them to take great care of my baby when I travel.

I called Green Hills Kennel because I was in the area but didn’t know where to take my dog for some grass time. The lady I spoke to was super sweet and directed me to the library less than a mile away. This was a life saver. I was able to walk my dog and let her out of the car for a few minutes. This review is not reflective of any actual kennel experience, but I feel like a place with excellent customer service for a non-patron is indicative of what you would experience as a paying customer. My dog is almost 5 years old, and during the time she attended regularly, the staff was friendly, knew her by name, and treated her with care. That kind of familiarity and attention matters when trusting someone with your pet.
Pricing was reasonable when we started, although rates have increased over time, so it may be worth comparing with other local options depending on your budget and needs.
I recently brought her back after about a year away. She seemed a little more anxious than in the past, and I noticed some staff turnover, but the visit was still handled professionally and staff were kind.
I’ll be using them again in May for a short boarding stay while I recover from surgery, so that will give me a more current sense of the experience. For now, I’d say keep an open mind. My experience has been positive overall, and as with any daycare or boarding facility, every dog’s needs and reactions can be different.

3150 McGavock Pk, NashvilleLove it here! We've been to several dog parks around Nashville and this is the one I choose above them all. Large space, always plenty of dogs around, kept clean, water fountains during the season. There are areas that can get a bit muddy after it rains, but overall it is a beautiful area.
