“Gas was cheaper than the 3 surrounding gas stations. Located kind of conveniently off i40, exit 79. All I got was gas but there did not appear to be much room for alot of items. It was a small store. However it did look to have drinks, candy and other pre-packaged food choices. The cashier was in a conversation when I approached the register. He did cut off the talking and took my money, then turned on my pump. No thank you or come again but I don't expect that anywhere now-a-days anyways. Store was clean bit smelled like cigars had been recently smoked inside. Pumps worked at they should, got my gas and got back on the road. Would stop again for gas prices when I'm back that side of Madison county.”
“I went to this Kroger this evening. I can barely walk with a cane and I was confused with the COVID 19 entrance when I walked up to the front of the store. A young black man, who was a Kroger employee, was walking by me. I asked him about the entrance. He immediately said, "Let me move these baskets and make a way for you." It was the kindest thing he did for me and, although I didn't get his name, I hope Kroger knows what a great young man they have working for them. I had just gone to Lowe's yesterday and had to leave because they told me I had to walk way around and wouldn't let me enter the garden department even though there was a way in way more than 6 feet from everyone. Thank you Kroger employee for treating me so kindly in this crazy time where others don't seem to care. It meant so much to me.”

“Excellent food, Excellent Prices! My mom and I stopped by on our way back home from Asheville, NC back home to Sherman, Tx/ Durant, Ok. We read the reviews and decided to give it a try. It is EXCELLENT Authentic Mexican Food. My mom and I know Mexican Food and this is A+. Just wish their were some chips to go along with the salsa. Don't be alarmed when you stop by, it is small and behind a convenient store, just off of I 40. Thumbs Up!”

“Since the pandemic changed everything and it's not as it was anywhere these people do a good job! I think you have to take into account the situation that people face there, both employees and shoppers. It's always busy, everyone is always in a hurry, impatient and think they have to be helped immediately, every business is understaffed and usually staff is overworked. That being said I have always been treated with kindness when being kind, I have shopped for my job sometimes 3 times a week and usually require special assistance in different departments, because I needed something extra and they always help me if at all possible. From the meat department to the stocking guys looking for extra burners for catering dishes because it showed a case on the computer but not the floor. The people in the frozen foods section joke with me and get me to laughing some days when I don't remember to smile and I mean sometimes I need the laugh desperately! I've been there and had frozen food help me get something in dry goods and I have seen the meat department guy helping everywhere always with a smile and greeting, the cashiers and front of store have taken harsh words and bad attitudes from people talking to them about things that they have no control over and kept going. Yes there are some slackers as there is everywhere, if you don't see an employee and you see someone that needs something then help them if you can because that's the way it used to be, does anyone remember that? If I see you and you need something from the shelf and you are struggling then I'm going to help, if I hear you say you need ____ and you don't see it I will tell you where I saw it. And if you help me I'm going to say thank you because we all used to do that. Thanks Sam's for pushing through a rough time in the world and having helpful people there everyday. They help me out so much! My only negative is sometimes I need gas before the pumps are open with the store and I wish they would open them at the pump 24/7 with a Sam's card, or Walmart+. If you look for negative things you will see negative but let's try smiling and finding positive ones too, the hard work that is done deserves acknowledgment too!”

“On the way out of Jackson after being in the hospital all day, needed gas to make it home. I stopped for gas but it was well lit up & busy so after getting gas I went in to thank the cashier for being there and Open. I had passed 2 closed before 8pm. I pay at the pump so I'm not exposing myself. Great place.”

“I stopped by KFC for some chicken it is was closed... dairy queen next and it was closed also... desperately wanting some chicken I stopped by Dodges. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I was greeted by the awesome people who work there as I entered. The food looked fresh and amazing. Derrick was the one at the register and he really went above and beyond my expectations of service you would likely receive at a convivence store! I drive by their store everyday going to work and I'll definitely be making it my go to spot!”
