The Crowne Plaza Memphis East is a pleasant hotel that has undergone significant recent improvements, offering incredible value. The bright, airy, and amazing modern lobby leads to rooms described as nice, clean, well-decorated, spacious, and cozy with comfy beds, though some note they can be a little small. Amenities are extensive, including a pool with colored lights, a jacuzzi, a bar, a restaurant, and both continental and hot breakfast for a fee. Additional features are digital keys, snack and drink access, fast elevators, luggage carts, and ice and vending machines. Some rooms have a fridge but no microwave, and in-room coffee is not provided, though it is free downstairs. The staff receives high praise for being lovely, friendly, helpful, and for making guests feel very welcome and appreciated. A convenient shuttle bus service with a good driver is available for travel to the city centre and Beale Street. However, experiences vary. Some guests report issues with housekeeping cleanliness, dust on surfaces, and uncomfortable interactions regarding tips. There have also been isolated reports of delays with security deposit returns and, on one occasion, a lack of air conditioning in the lobby and bar areas, which were understaffed but staffed by friendly personnel. Most guests found the hotel quiet, with clean hallways and excellent water pressure, and many would definitely stay again, considering it the best choice for the area.
This is a very beautiful hotel. Banquet is nice; never stayed in a room. Close to the interstate.

Pleasant hotel reasonably close to Beale Street with courtesy bus to city centre. Bright and airy modern lobby and pleasant rooms. Decent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again though will probably never return to Memphis which, other than visiting Graceland, is not great

Hotel was as expected, I have no reason to complain other than I am still waiting for my security deposit to be returned to me. On checkout I was assured it would take no more than 7 days, 19 days later I am still waiting. I have e-mailed the hotel however no response.....
