“Amazing CrossFit gym with outstanding coaching. One of the best and cleanest boxes I've ever visited. The equipment is top-notch, great locker rooms and showers are better and larger than those at many hotels.
They've clearly put a lot of thought into every detail and create a fantastic experience for both members and drop-ins. If I lived in Nashville, this would definitely be my home gym.
The drop-in experience was excellent, and the free parking is another big plus. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. Brock was an amazing coach. Highly recommend working with him.”

“Awesome experience all around. The classes vary in focus daily with cardio/resistance/hybrid and the specific phases rotate every few weeks. The coaches are all fantastic and push you to achieve your best. This is suitable for all skill levels and you can still challenge yourself or learn some basic fundamentals about working out or anywhere in between. Also a very welcoming community for newcomers. Highly recommend checking it out!”

“Crossfit Donelson is a one of a kind gym. The community is incredibly welcoming and kind, the coaches are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, and the workouts are varied and a lot of fun!! (if you count wall balls and burpees as “fun”…..lol) Coming here 4-5x a week was a part of my routine I always looked forward to. I saw immense progress in my strength and skills within the year I was there. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area!”

“After using ClassPass for a couple months to try classes around town, I finally settled on an F45 East membership. Here's why:

It's easy to schedule and cancel classes. There are more than enough class times available to meet most scheduling needs and cancellations can occur anytime outside of 8hrs. Compared to other gyms in the area, this fit my schedule best and left enough flexibility for cancellations if needed. They also utilize an app that makes booking your classes super easy.

Pricing is competitive to the area and there are different plan options available. They charge bi-weekly which I also prefer. Spreading the cost out over the month makes it more manageable.

While in class the workouts are easy to follow, the coaches are enthusiastic without pushing you to discomfort, and the movements will challenge you. There are different weights available so you can challenge your body without hurting yourself and the classes are set up to keep you moving without having to grab and rerack weights. I'd recommend these workouts to beginners and seasoned exercise-enthusiasts alike.

*A personal perk for me is that the gym is clean and gear is wiped down between classes. Towels are also available in class.

If you're looking for a class-style, home-gym in East, I highly recommend trying it out!”

“I’ve tried a few gyms in Nashville. Pro Vita is the best by far.

I became a member ~3 years ago when I knew something needed to change. As a former college football player, I loved going to gym, but along the way lost sight of my health. The coaches at Pro Vita have not only helped me get it back—but even surpass some of my lifts from my football days. (Which was 10+ years ago!)

Classes have structure and consistent exercises, but no workout is the same. Their coaches explain every exercise, every time and provide feedback and encouragement throughout the workout.

What’s even better is the people: it’s a fun, social environment where you can get to know the people you work out with. The gym even occasionally throws social events!

All that to say, I’m so glad I joined Pro Vita.

It’s got me performing at my best.”

“I can’t possibly say enough good things about this place and specifically this workout!
My wife & I both started doing CrossFit in Chicago. We both found the experience not optimal for 60 year olds. We’e both ex athletes who need to supplement our yoga practice with weight/strength training.
This place is absolutely perfect!
You’re pretty much on your own if you’d like to be, with videos complementing every exercise. If you need input Ashley and her staff are happily there for you.
My wife and I owned a yoga studio in Chicago. You can’t fake cleanliness or making sure equipment is maintained properly. Ashley is so on top of both of the above. The quality of your experience is apparent every visit.
Lastly the workouts are outstanding and you can start every 7 minutes. You can do ANYTHING for 7 minutes! Just do it 7 times and show up when your schedule dictates.
Did I mention the puppies?
I think this place is a gem and you will too - there’s nothing better!”

“If you’re a Type A overachiever who loves color coded calendars, emotional validation, and being yelled at nicely, welcome home, babe. OrangeTheory is basically P.E. class for adults with unresolved control issues.

They make you run, row, lift, and question your life choices for exactly one hour. It’s efficient torture with mood lighting. But fair warning: if you’re inhaling cake like it’s oxygen, don’t blame them when you still jiggle. This place gives results, not miracles.

The staff are aggressively friendly, like golden retrievers with clipboards. They cheer for you, they remember your name, they care, and it’s honestly terrifying. I didn’t sign up to be emotionally supported through my trauma arc. I have attachment issues, please stop remembering my name zack, jamie, and kevin (love you guys lol)

Place is spotless, the vibes are electric, and I’m 80% sure they pump caffeine into the air vents. I always leave drenched, dizzy, and emotionally reborn.

10/10 would cry on the treadmill again.”

“I joined Crossfit West Nashville two years ago after a long hiatus from exercise and after I realized I couldn’t chase my daughter in the yard without major knee/hip/joint pain. I also couldn’t hold 200 pounds on my back without getting a back spasm. This weekend I chased both my kids around the playground, climbing jungle gyms and doing all sorts of maneuvers that would be considered risky business before I started Crossfit - all pain free. Today I squatted 315 for five sets of four. I still have a lot of work left to get to my health goals, but I’ve come a long way in this journey and I’m very thankful for the coaches and community for helping get me to a much better place in life.

The culture at this gym is amazing. A lot of places pressure you into making your life revolve around the gym and its events - whereas here is a place where you are encouraged to do things at YOUR pace and fit what works into YOUR lifestyle. The mantra is “health first”, holistically. The programming is all-reaching and is scaled in a way that you only do what works for your current fitness level. And the coaches encourage you to push yourself, but leave your ego at the door. Form and quality come first.

Two more things I love about this place is that it has a fully loaded downstairs gym that you can use practically any time the gym is open for those who want to get additional accessory work in. There’s also access to wellness programs that are being rolled out like massage therapy, body composition analysis, and nutrition monitoring.

Functional fitness at its best with great people who become friends, programming done for you so you don’t have to think about it, and zero pressure - all while having support and encouragement to be a healthier and stronger version of yourself. Can’t ask for much more than that!”

“Super dope gym! ? The programming rocks - every Monday is legs, Tuesday’s is chest and back, etc and Fri/Sat are full body conditioning which gives real nice structure, but the moves and formats change up every week which keeps it fresh and fun. Coaches are friendly, super knowledgeable, and emphasize form big time. Lots of classes (as early as 530am and as late as 630pm). Parking is on premises, free, and gated which is nice for being in the city, and their music is always on point. Also, not every gym does a great job of emphasizing stretching and dynamic warmups/cool downs but every class has a 10-15min sesh baked in which is nice for keeping injuries away.This spot has been such a great part of my move to Nashville - thank you Shawn, Charlie, Stephen, Rose, and the rest of the BC team!”

The people who go to OTF come in all shapes and sizes and it always feels like everyone is welcome and in a place free of judgement. Everyone is always really friendly and learns your name quickly.
