“The Ooltewah Walmart is the cleanest and friendliest Walmart in my 43 years of multistate Walmart experience. The Auto Center has no mechanics so don't look for preventive advice or maintenance. They sold us tires on a car with an obviously broken strut, but their tire prices and oil changes are priced competitively. Early morning arrivals have shorter waits. The garden center is managed like an after thought, but usually has the basics. The rest of the store is hard to beat, period. It is always well stocked and offers plenty of friendly help.”

They were able to tell us about all the functions and differences in what we were looking at. We also are going to get new fireplace logs and they have them there as well. “My recent visit to T.J. Maxx in Chattanooga was a bit disappointing. Unfortunately, they didn't have the specific item I was looking for, and I noticed they had a limited selection of dog treats compared to Home Goods and Marshall's. If you have specific pet needs, you might have better luck at the other stores in the same family. However, T.J. Maxx is still worth exploring for its diverse range of other products.”

“I've always been a fan of Ross. Great place to find many eclectic items. Love some of the food options they carry. Bags of Turmeric, matcha green tea, different salts & more. They often have cool dinnerware and make up as well as cremes & lotions as well. The ladies at the registers are always quick & polite too. The store is usually generally clean but have noticed an uptick of some customers that are making crazy messes. That's awful for the employees.”

“The first time I went into this store they were getting a new manager. The store looked horrible but I thought well they are getting a new manager we'll see.. I have been coming here for several months now and the store looks better and better everytime I come in. Kudos to the new manager who has came into the store and totally turned it around!! I think more people need to give this location another chance I know it has had a bad rep for a long time but just give it one more try!!”

“Love this place. The people are super friendly and accepting. My boyfriend and I got some hats there and got to talking to them and the place is super inclusive now and they’ve even hired a quite a few lgbtqia+ members. They did a great job designing our hats and they got it done very quickly. Just from our experience their I think people can be a little unrealistic in their expectations from the staff and forget these are just regular retail workers and not skilled artisans. They are skilled and talented for sure, but again, it’s a hat store and most of these people didn’t take this minimum wage job expecting to learn a complex job and machine like that.”

“Walmart does have the best prices on almost everything. The grocery section is great, the prices are lower than any other store (except if other stores have buy one get one free deals). My only complaint at this Walmart is that they still don't have enough registers open. When I go there, I load up on groceries, paper products, etc. and my cart is heaping. I dread finding a register, since the lines are normally a few people deep and if they have full carts, it is a 10-15 minute wait. What Walmart needs to realize is yes, an open register means having employees to staff them, but the registers can bring high sales. Sometimes there are only 2-3 registers open besides the 10 items or less registers. Come on, Walmart is a superstore and the majority of people buy more than 10 items. Four stars because of the prices, it would be 5 stars if they had more registers open. And supposedly they have started opening more registers, but I was just there last week and they still need more registers open.”

“Typical Walmart store. This one was located across the street from our hotel. We stopped here to find some shorts or some clearance swimsuits since we wanted to get in the hotel pool. Well, shorts it was. The store was very well stocked! If they sold it, it was there because they didn't have any gaps on their shelves. This is different in this time.”
