“Great place to shop for fragrances. I usually know what I’m going to sample, and the fragrance counter workers typically are understanding/let me take my time and look around without bothering me. But I have also seen them take the time and care to help someone decide on a fragrance to purchase for a gift. I eavesdropped, and thought that they gave great advice and steered that customer in the right direction.”
“Love Gabes especially at the bigger location. This is my go to store when I'm looking for good deals on a variety of different items and one of my favorite places to shop for gifts. I got all the outfits here for our family photos since I could get great options for everyone. The coupons are just an added bonus to this amazing store.”

“Store was stocked for a change. Usually don’t find much at this location but the guys had best selection of doc martens this go round. There was annoying security tolags beeping but employees were quick to nip it and soo sweet friendly and efficient. The two young girls one working the floor and the other at register . So nice to my husband and I .”

“Store was decently clean but they didn't hardly have any shoes in Harley have any clothes like in my size I'm a plus size girl or at least they didn't have anything that I thought was cute. I did find a cool spatula and spoontula.”

“The best Walmart in Chattanooga is the Walmart on hwy 153 in Hixson. They have the most wonderful employees on the 6am to 3 pm shift. They are personable, helpful, friendly, they care about their customers. A big shout out to Joyce Williams, SU, Jesse, Brenda, Crystal, Victoria, AJ , April, & Kevin. Also Mary the door greeter on the grocery side is such a warm , happy & positive lady. I want to mention Dale in produce who is a great guy, wonderful personality & also very helpful & Bonnie in the Bakery. This store has the nicest , most caring friendly employees over any other store in the area. I shop this store Friday, Saturday & Sundays. And would not choose to go to any other Walmart .”
“Drove past this Walmart due to the reviews but when I could not find another store, I came back. I've only been here one time but but that visit did not have a one and a half star vibe. We were immediately greeted by a friendly employee who gave us a basket for our shopping, The store was clean, well staffed and well stocked. I would not hesitate to come back if I am in the area again.”
“Love this place. The people are super friendly and accepting. My boyfriend and I got some hats there and got to talking to them and the place is super inclusive now and they’ve even hired a quite a few lgbtqia+ members. They did a great job designing our hats and they got it done very quickly. Just from our experience their I think people can be a little unrealistic in their expectations from the staff and forget these are just regular retail workers and not skilled artisans. They are skilled and talented for sure, but again, it’s a hat store and most of these people didn’t take this minimum wage job expecting to learn a complex job and machine like that.”
“I was glad to find that they were still open during the shutdown. Not only were they open they still had all the things that I needed. The only thing I had to adjust was the lack of honey available but then I got to branch out and try honey that was from orange blossoms (turns out it's delicious). I was also able to find my favorite coffee Gevalia on sale (: Way to go Walmart you did a great job!!!”

In moving to Chattanooga my previous experience with Walmart was skewed because there are not that many “full service” Walmart locations in the North.
Fast forward to now, this location has been almost a one-stop shopping experience for most of what I need.
The thing that sets this location apart from ALL of the other locations that I have visited is the people. The team at this location has been remarkably kind and genuinely interested in my experience. Whether I’m looking for assistance or simply walking by and they say “Hi” I just feel welcome.”

“I love this store I whent into there the other day to look at the makeup as soon as I start looking a pretty girl came up to me i didnt catch her name she had purple eye shadow on and she has long black hair she African American and she started helping me look for what would look good with my complexion she was a big help..”
