βEven though they charge 10% extra, costing more money tbt I don't have,I like there meets an cakes !! Just don't think it's right they charge extra money some people don't have,there not all that great!!!β
βFresh Fruit Chunks and Sushi are the best. They also have $5 Fruit Bowls right at the entrance and fruit cups at the very end "chunk fruit" section. Definitely recommend especially if you are trying to be healthy.β
βI'd give it 5 stars if it stayed open 24hrs but at least they leave the lights on when they close so you can pay at the pump, decent selection of fried and grilled food including livers, gizzard and fried cheesecake as well as burgers corn dogs and chickenβ

βAnother place to get in and out quickly. Prices are the same or even better. Only have coke products in stock. They will even check you out and bag your groceries. I know I get tired of having to be my own cashier everywhere.β
βThis place is off the major streets but worth the distance. The service is very friendly and you can buy fresh deli meats and cheese. Great convenience store with all the usual items, snacks, sodas, beer, etc.β
βVery nice place to fish as a family 4 lakes to choose from. Also has a concession stand and bait shop. You can also horse ride and hunt during appropriate times. Boat rentals or bring your on but no gas motors trolling or paddles. Love this place!β

βWe go there to get snacks. It's convenient and has a lot of other treasures for the home at really affordable prices. I like the self check out. It's close to home and they seem to be everywhere.β
βOnly issue I have as neighborhood customer is random closures on 3rd shift. Hot and Cold prepared foods round the clock. If it's on the menu but not ready you can have it made. Example tenders are 24/7 item, and @ 0333 you walk in and order tenders to be cooked it's policy the guy in back has to cook it. Learn the menu it's large. They are setup for pizzas, have cold cuts items, and even make in store desserts like banana pudding.PS put the pressure on them for quality. As I was instructed ALL items in the hot case has a four hour shelf life, so make em cook it up right! Remember it is policy if requested they have to make it.β
βCashier was friendly and very helpful. I'm disabled and in a wheelchair so her helpfulness and great attitude was very much appreciated. Some aisles were too narrow for my wheelchair to go through though.β
βAll the Dollar General Stores are great and great low prices. Usually a friendly staff depends on which one. My favorite is the one on Bear Creek they are always polite and the store is always nice and clean.β

βTony who works there now that new management has taken over is very nice. They were the owners on Hatcher. It is further than from my house but I try to visit there as much as possible because they have always tried to keep gas prices low. They treat you like family there.β
βI love Fox's Grocery! I grew up going there with my family for gas and groceries and true Southern hospitality. My brothers and I loved their candy window! This is a very unique country store owned by very good people--a real gem. I try to go visit when I come back to Tennessee, and it always warms my heart to be there. Also, they have delicious sandwiches!β
βJACOB IN THE PRODUCE SECTION IS THE BEST! Every time I visit this Kroger, Jacob in the produce section goes above and beyond to be helpful and absolutely makes my day. 10/10 recommended going to this Kroger and this Kroger only JUST for Jacob in the produce section. βI came in when Kroger opened on Fatherβs Day as I needed to pick up a few things, including some steaks to make for lunch.
Although it was early, and the team, especially in the meat department, were just getting things set up, Moe, an employee, Took an interest in what I was looking for, and when I spoke with him, I realize that the steaks that I was looking for were not out on the shelves.
I asked him if he had any in the back and he said that the counter opens at 10 AM, I thanked him and I started to walk away. He then told me to wait a second and he went back into the back and he found five beautiful steaks and brought them out for me.
It is employee ownership like this that makes it a joy to shop at a store where people know you and help.

βThe Wal-Mart in Columbia was good. Found some sections (plastic containers, bathroom and kitchen...items from China) nearly empty. 6/22/22: Still a busy place. Most checkout now self service. Selection of food and other things good. Still 5 stars. Update 5,/2/23: Pharmacy has great prices, moved all my prescriptions there. Produce better than Wal-Mart's in IL. They have guys collecting carts from lot so always available unlike nearby Krogers. Still 5 stars. 9/11/2023 pharmacy staff are excellent. Still 5 stars. 7/23/2024. This Walmart was good. Good produce.β
