“Good food, great prices for bulk foods. Also has soaps, lotions, things to make herbal tinctures etc. Deli has cold sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, a special hot sandwich for each day, meats, and cheese. The grill is now open and serving hamburgers.

“October 18, 2024 @16:40: This General Dollar Store is located right beside Crossroads is open and has been open! We had massive flooding in the area but they are open and they are in stock of a lot of food including freezer food, cheese, milk and much needed items. This is the best General Dollar Store in the area. Always cleaner than most. Always has more in stock than most General Dollar Stores in this area. The manager is excellent. All employees have been polite and helpful to me and my family. It's my favorite General Dollar Store to go to and all of East Tennessee. And trust me when I say I've been to 90% of them.”
“Ingles Pharmacy in Jonesborough is by far the best pharmacy in town. We had an issue with our doctors office and insurance. The doctor refused to see my husband to get his mental health med refilled and also refused to call in a 3 day emergency supply. We went to the pharmacy and told them what was going on. The pharmacist on duty was diligent and able to get the authorization for the emergency supply. Please keep in mind that stopping this med cold turkey can cause death. The doctor didn't care but our pharmacy did! Thank you to all the staff in the pharmacy for caring and providing superior customer care!”

“Great store with great prices. Well kept with very nice produce. The only issue is first day for Friday specials they were already out of advertised item.I was there at 10:00AM.”
“So have been to the location a few times in the last few years whenever I'm visiting TN. Most recent visit was good. I realize that they are not in stock of a noticeable number of products - though this is common all over - including Northern Virginia which usually has a good level of products available. I think that between people quitting their jobs across all industries, workers being hospitalized with issues, back ups at shipping ports - each aspect is causing supply chain issues. And people are stocking up more the last year or so. So anyway - the location had most of what I wanted. They even had the pub mix my family members like [the Walmart locations in Northern Virginia hasn't had it in months.]. I was also happy that they had a section of gluten free pretzels and a version of Pringles that are gluten and dairy free. I can't eat gluten, dairy, or soy anymore so it was a nice surprise they offer those products. There was a product we were trying to find and an employee of the store walked us directly to it.”

“What a perfect time to tell a Chrismas story...... This evening I went to the Dollar Gereral at 1033 Home Depot with the hopes of finding a Chrismas tree, I saw one on display at the window, it was 4 ft tall. I walked in to ask if they had anymore and was told no, I asked if they would be willing to sell the demo and they said no again, but it seemed to bother them that they couldn't help, without me seeing it as a problem, I asked if they would sell it to me for 25.00 and they said they would call the manager, to my surprise, the answer was YES! I was so moved because I had looked for real trees, but this year they were far and few between. It wasn't just the fact they were going to sell it to me, but the enthusiasm they displayed while boxong it up, the kindness they showed was immeasurable and I was totally moved by it that I started to cry. This year has been tough for everyone, and what I learned in the particular with Dollar General store was that kindness still exists, the love and humanity these 2 ladies displayed was almost unreal, because during these tough times, many people have forgotten how to be kind. Their names, and don't forget it, are Amiee and Crystal. Even though kindness has been hard to find, we must always remember that it still exists and God is always here with us, just look with an open heart, be kind yourself and to others and you will be surprised that it really is all around us! Thank you Amiee and Crystal, this is an experience I will never forget!! Oh and through their kindness they sold me the tree for 7.50!!! I will never forget this day at Dollar General, and what Amiee and Chrystal did for me...Remember, kindness is everywhere, you just have to open your heart :)”
