“Huge shoutout to the Home Depot delivery team! They were incredibly friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. They even took the time to switch the dryer door to the other side- which required taking part of the dryer apart- just to make our small laundry room more functional. They absolutely didn’t have to do that, but they did it anyway. Customer service like this is hard to find these days. They deserve a raise!”

“Took a retired cousin to buy some specialty wood for a project. The employees were accommodating and helped him with what he needed. As they got to talking the employees turned out to be a valuable information specialist. My cousin and I spent at least 45 minutes to an hour and he bought what he needed. It was a pleasurable experience. I recommend anyone into woodworking to stop by and see the whole store. Its a treasure trove of ideas for gifts and items that can be made and sold.”

Because of these stores lower prices, small businesses have flourished. Competition is good. Because some businesses take advantage of naive customers. When competition happens it creates lower prices for consumers.”
“I highly recommend taking their classes if you are wanting to get started on woodworking, but don't know where to start. I have taken their basic woodworking and hand tool classes with Howard and both were amazing! I went in not ever using a power tool or hand tool before. As you can imagine, I was nervous and ready to embarrass myself, but Howard never made me feel that way. He took the time to explain everything and guided us the entire time. Classes are small (4-6 people) so you get the individual attention you need. If you look at the cost of the classes and how many hours you spend with a professional woodworker and the supplies they provide, you'll realize what an incredible value it is. This place is a hidden gem!”

“1/2/26: Stopped by to pick up a couple of propane tanks, in ahead of the storm. I met Kelly in the garden area, and she was extremely friendly and helpful. I picked up a couple of tanks, and she told me that they were out of propane, and to call the next day at 8am. I called at 8:05 am the next day, and was advised that they had propane. I showed up ten minutes later, and after waiting 45 minutes in line in 39 degree weather to fill up my tanks, I was a happy camper. I had good conversation with some of the other customers. The gentleman filling the tanks was very friendly, and didn't seem bother by the line that continued to grow. I am grateful for TSC and their staff for providing a much needed service!”

“Came in this evening needing to find parts for a bathroom remodel. I asked the first sales associate I saw and he helped me right away. When he was unsure of something he found Robin who was able to help us. We needed additional help (they didn’t want to tell me the wrong thing and I appreciated this sooo much) and a 3rd gentleman came to help. I was able to find everything I needed! “I needed something from Lowe's and was in this area of town so we stopped in. The best time to shop at Lowe's (or HD) is Friday evening. Beat the Saturday morning rush when everyone and their brother comes in for their weekend project supplies. We were replacing our ceiling fan in our sunroom and found just what we were looking for. It was a fan with a remote control to turn on the fan blades and the light. I was also looking for some pull-out shelves for a built-in sideboard. I found the Rev-A-Shelf brand shelves that I know are excellent quality as I've bought some before. I couldn't find any shorter sized rollout shelves, only 22" deep and I needed 17" depth. Sadly, they aren't available in that depth so I had to change my plans and go with Container Store Elfa baskets. Saturday morning, hubby started to dismantle the old ceiling fan and then prepare to install the new fan. As he was starting to install, he realized that since there is only a beam it's getting attached to, we would need to return this model and buy the fan that has the pull chains. I'm fine with that. It's what I'm used to. The return/exchange was seamless. I really like the look of the new ceiling fan. I did have to buy chain extensions so that we could reach the pull chains to turn on/off the light or the fan blades.”

“Always fun to go here and browse the seasonal stuff, but they also tend to have auto/vehicle stuff or farm stuff I need, without having to go into town and deal with 380 traffic. A but more expensive.... EXCEPT for propane refills! It's crazy cheaper to refill vs the Walmart swap thing. You get more for less, your tank is filled fuller. They took care of lots of folks during the recent ice storms, filling as much as they could till the supply ran out.”
