“Traveling is stressful enough. I had a wheel mishap and discovered my packers packed my floor jacked where I could not reach it.
Picked up a jack and I really don't need or hopefully not use before I get to my new destination.
I can return jack to any harbor freight within 90days.

“There’s an employee named Magic (Mike), who was absolutely phenomenal. He spent extra time to help teach me about an outdoor faucet I was trying to fix that wasn’t turning off. He was very much a “dad type” but absolutely patient and wonderful explaining it all to me. Never once made me feel d*** or silly for not knowing. He was helpful and kind. The kind of person who obviously wants a customer to succeed in fixing whatever they are trying to do. I wish more employees were more like him.”
“Excellent customer service! Hard to believe I was really having a problem finding treated fence lumber around Amarillo. A local specialty fence company suggested Sutherlands after no luck with all the very well known retailers. The lady over the phone, the cashier, and the man in the lumberyard were all VERY professional, kind, and fast in helping me. They didn't have the treated wood either but because of their service I ended buying cedar.”
“There is a cashier named Tonya. A senior lady who is the rudest and most unhelpful worker I have ever encountered at an Ace store. I am a loyal Ace customer and recently moved to Amarillo. I quickly needed to shop at Ace having just purchased a home. I must give this rating in order for her to be coached on the excellent service Ace is known for. Hopefully she is trainable by you can’t fix misery! That said the other staff is as amazing as I am acustom to at any Ace store. Therefore my rating will increase from a 1 for her to a 4 for the benefit of the other great staff including the Gorg. Pup!!”
“If you need paint match Mia is excellent. Has a good eye for subtle difference and then knows how to make the correct adjustment even when the match machine is acting up. Very pleasant as well.”
“I love this place. They have food for all your animals. There's even a self serve dog wash in the back. But best of all, the folks here are so nice and helpful. There is a garden center. There's just to much to mention. Visit and enjoy!”

“Drove from Guymon to Amarillo yesterday 2-15-2026 to pick up material for our deck. Had several carts full of lumber and other items. Was standing by the register when they were ringing everything up and I heard the guy call out the number of all the items I had picked up. Every thing he called out was exactly what I had loaded on the carts. A little over 2000 dollars worth of items. The 2 guys pushed all of the carts outside and loaded everything on the trailer for me. I tied it all down and headed home. Wasn't until we were a few miles from home when I noticed on the ticket I was charged for 48 2x4x12s instead of the 24 I picked up. I called the store at 8am this morning and the guy told me he would look at the cameras and get back to me. Hopefully they call soon. I wish I had looked before we drove off but I knew the total was going to be close to the 2000 dollar mark and I heard him say 24 2x4s when he was scanning everything. The help loading everything was great and as soon as they make this right I will give them a 5 star rating. They called me back Wednesday afternoon and had already credited the amount back on my card. The guy was super nice and apologized for the mistake and for not getting back with me on Monday after I called. Great customer service”
“We were looking for lumber for a home project when we spotted a piece that was used, but would be perfect. Three employees were busy unloading, but one turned to help us, James. We asked how much for it and after measuring he said we could just have it. He walked to the front of the store with us to clear us. A truly kind gesture and experience at this store in Amarillo. “05/24/25 - Leaking outdoor faucet. I needed help finding a set of washers or an entire new cartridge for my garden hose faucet. Lowe’s referred me to Everett’s because my faucet was too old (17 years) for their parts inventory.
Everett’s staff not only had a washer and a handle for me, but they even took the time to re-thread my washer hold-down screw since I broke the old screw taking everything apart. Total cost? $2.60. Amazing! They saved me a bunch of money by not needing a plumber to install a new faucet.
And the atmosphere was so friendly! I am so grateful that they were able to help me and do it with smiles on their faces.”
