“Update: Went back to the bank, and after further review they let me deposit my check with a 7 business days hold,which is fine because I know the check will clear. Just wish we could have did this the 1st time, and not having to make several trips up here. I know scams/fraud are more prevalent these days, so it's understandable for them to be cautious.
I've banking with them for a while, including other family members. But service is not as reliable as it used to be. Today in the drive-thru, I tried to deposit and cash a check from the State of Texas, and teller said the system couldn't verify the check. She didn't give me any further explanation or options like to deposit it with a hold or anything. I know it was close to 5pm, and she could've been just ready to get off, but she definitely could've given more information, especially when they aren't even open on the weekends, so now I have to wait until Monday to try and figure out a solution.”
