La Mexicana Supermercado Chaparo offers a variety of Mexican foods and grocery items. The small restaurant inside the store serves well-loved dishes such as gorditas, quesadillas, caldo, fajitas, and barbacoa by the pound, with the staff being helpful and eager to please. While some find the prices high, especially for certain items like refried beans, others appreciate the quality of the goods and the friendly service. The store is known for its fresh, frozen meats and a good selection of traditional Mexican foods, making it a popular spot for those seeking authentic flavors.
