The Texas Capitol Gift Shop, located in the Capitol Visitor Center building, offers a large selection of Texas-themed merchandise. Visitors can enjoy a beautiful walk through the grounds to reach the shop. While the gift shop is a bit far from the Capitol, many find it fun and appreciate the reasonable prices and decent selection of souvenirs. Staff members are helpful and assist customers in finding special gifts, making it a nice stop after exploring the impressive Capitol building and its history.
Loved this little shop while I stopped by the capital this week. So many cute ornaments for the holidays are out already! Elizabeth was so helpful and answered all of my questions and even informed me that the stores proceeds go back into the capital and state building to keep our capital beautiful!

The best part of the Texas Capitol, and maybe all of Texas itself, was the gift shop and the welcoming embrace of Lisa and Elizabeth. If there’s anything bringing me back to Texas, it’s these fine ladies.

I love coming here and shopping for Texas themed gifts that you can’t get anywhere else. The store is always fully stocked and clean. I love coming here. The Associates and everyone are friendly. I love being able to tour the C my representatives see the Texas history and grab whatever gifts and stuff I may need.
