“I’ve been getting pickles and pickle juice here for a while! They’re delicious, crunchy, and really I’m a brand snob for Fickle Pickles. This last time, I decided to upgrade to the largest size jar of pickles. It was so difficult to open that I tore tendons in my index finger base, had to get x rays, steroid shots and now regular visits to make sure my finger moves properly. Anyway, one day, when I get the jar open, I’ll know it was worth it.”

“Lots of great Austin and Texas souvenirs at Atown. They have better stuff here vs Tyler’s in my opinion. The staff were so nice to me this morning. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but there’s plenty of parking on the side and neighborhood. I am a fan of Atown!!”
“Another authenticly Austin must see shop just blocks away from the State Capital with loads of amazing music related items, clothing, instruments and gifts to take back home from the Live Music Capital❤️”

“I don’t usually review gift shops, but I really enjoyed the merchandise. I told the clerk or owner I like gardening and he was very knowledgeable about flowers.”
“I thouroughly enjoyed learning more about the man who was president during my youth. My wife and daughter also enjoyed learning about Lady Bird Johnson. I highly reccomend this site if you are in Austin.”
“December 2024
C'est Chic! is a fantastic boutique shop located right in my neighborhood of Circle C Ranch. I was impressed with the merchandise available to purchase for gifts. I normally do not explore boutique shops but this one was well organized.
On this visit they has a lot of Christmas out and took a while to explore this small store. I found many gift items and some for myself. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You get the personal touch here. So if you are looking for that special items then recommend going here. I'll return to see their Valentine's Day items.”
“A really lovely gift and stationary shop! It’s always peaceful feeling to visit. They have a nice card selection and local gifts. All reasonably priced. I love this little store!”
“Went in the to get a job. Walked out with some Montana Color Spray Paint, and some much needed accessories. Located right on the East Side. Excellent selection and variety of items.”

“Five stars for the view, but only 2 for the food. Drinks are decent, but overpriced. Be prepared to wait in line if you're planning on going there in a pretty day to watch the sunset. Sunday is salsa day, which is really fun to watch.”
“While being at a hospital is oftentimes not for very joyful experiences, small spots like this can help brighten up the day of both patients and visitors alike. There is a wide variety of different items available for gifts, comfort, and even a soda machine, coffee, and refrigerated food items in case you need something close and quick. The real reason MVP of the offerings, however, are the Tyler Candles. Made here in Texas (Tyler, TX, of course), the hospital gift shop offers a great selection of both fragrances and different products. I have special memories buying these candles all of the way up in Minnesota with my grandmother - it was cool to buy Tyler Candles when your name is Tyler, you know? But being in a place of high stress and emotion, smelling some of those familiar scents brought me to a very tranquil place. Thanks, St. David’s/Atrium Gift Shop for the opportunity to reflect and relive fun memories.”
“I kept seeing all these reviews..like, a lot, that said “friendly staff!” And I have to admit the staff is definitely far above average friendly and helpful, the reviews are true ? - great novelty shop”
“Honestly it’s just a great place to shop for nerds or if you are a nerd. Corporate could make better calls on sending out schtuff to stay up to date but the staff are really nice and helpful shoutout to Ava for letting me know what y’all have in stock.”
“This shop is so cute and splendid. I've bought several lovely outfits from here and always enjoy the shopping experience. Jessica helped me both times and is so wonderful at Lilla & Beth. I highly recommend checking it out if you are in the Mueller area. This is a really good place to purchase gifts too. ?❤️”
“Austin's most delightful gift shop — pure charm in every corner!
Prima Dora on North Loop is an utterly enchanting little gift shop that perfectly captures the quirky, creative spirit of Austin. The selection of unique cards, gifts, plants, and whimsical home goods is beautifully curated and impossible to browse without smiling. Every visit feels like discovering something wonderful you didn't know you needed — and the prices are surprisingly affordable for such thoughtfully chosen items. A true Austin gem that makes gift-giving genuinely fun and effortless!”
“Love that this location has P.O. Boxes available for you to rent out. They have free old time video games you can enjoy. The art sculptures outside are amazing. Love this space, love the cat that live where too.”
“What brought me here was a Turkish TikTok influencer that informed me about Aleppo Soap. I prefer to go to brick and mortars especially for things I haven't tried and I was searching for establishments that might have the soap, and in one picture this place posted, was what looked like the soap. Leslie was so nice and answered my questions and told me about the owner and how she sources her wares. I loved the perfumes, and I love the soap! I also bought a scarf which I will wear the next time I go to an Orthodox monastery. I told Leslie, the perfume was for my daughter (that she wanted Jasmine and wasn't finding whatvshe wanted elsewhwre) and I splurged on the scarf as an early birthday gift. She wrapped them for me! I felt so special because probably no one else will do that for me this year. 10 out of 10 place. This is a much higher quality place than other eastern stores you see in malls. Personable and all the jewelry although high in dollars is real stone and real metal. Nothing cheaply made. A gift from here tells the person you are gifting that they truly are special and that they deserve genuine artisan crafted and quality ingredient gifts. I will gladly return to this place and definitely buy more soap and maybe one of those amazing picture frames!”
“A cute shop hidden away at an indoor mall. Had a great selection of popular anime & K-pop merch. Staff was very helpful & packaged our purchases beautifully. Definitely coming back :)”

“Great selection! Was greeted promptly and really liked their selection of summery dresses. A local gem and if they keep up the friendly customer service, I'll definitely be back for future purchases.”
“Planet K is a long time standby for all your vape or glass needs. Today, I visited looking for a new personal vaporizer. The staff were knowledge, patient, and chill as hell. They hooked me up with an on sale vape and some prerolls I hadn't tried before. Thanks so much for the respect, politeness and chill conversation. I will definitely be back once they've restocked their dry herb. Sometimes you want a real person to help you choose a product, not trawl the internet and staff here helped me out a lot. Thanks for rocking Planet K!”
“This place has some cool stuff in it. I really only come here to buy tobacco and tubes to roll my own cigarettes. Unfortunately the staff is not very friendly. Other than that it's alright.”
“Not what I expected at all. We thought it would be more "weird" like fun weird, but it was geared more towards like horror/science gone wrong weird. I'm sure it's a great little place for people but not somewhere I'd take my kid again.”
“This store always has a variety of cute and interesting things to buy, and their customer service is great.I want to give special recognition also for those Attic Salt employees who were present on December 16th when the whole mall thought a shooting was happening. Your professionalism, calm demeanor, and kindness in working with all of us very panicky people does not go unnoticed. Thank you for allowing me and others to escape the building through the employee exit.”
“The worker behind the counter was lovely to chat to.
Got some pretty good deals, too.
I'm only visiting Austin as I'm British, but people like this are making my stay very enjoyable!”

“Staff were polite and friendly, and are great listeners when being used questions. Not only was I pointed towards merchandise, they pointed out and offered insight and opinions on what was available, even helping with a few recommendations. Not once did I feel uncomfortable, despite it being my first time visiting (let alone any adult shop period).
I'm extremely thankful my partner chose The Doll House, and we will both be paying a visit in the future for a more thorough visit to sample more of the services and features offered.
The incense is a bit strong at first when walking in, but it's a cozy atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. Prices aren't bad and are more than reasonable for what's available. Definitely recommend a visit for couples, it's a very enriching experience.”
“This shop is such a gem--it's my favorite place to go for hand-poured candles that smell incredible. Such a nice staff and I feel like they're always doing super fun events and workshops! Highly recommend.”
