Definitely check out all of their locations!”

“It is a wonderful little thrift store with the added bonus of supporting the fur babies of Austin. Just remember they're reliant on donations so they don't have exactly what you're looking for they don't have it.”

“Great selection, friendly staff, would have been a better experience if all the fitting rooms were accessible, but two were closed and the wait to try on clothes was long.”

“They have the cutest sleepers and all the clothes are separated by size and color so it makes it super easy to go in for something specific. They also have a ton of new items like socks and even tap shoes for a great price! I’m so happy this place opened back up I was definitely bummed when they closed years ago!! I will continue to shop here for my little ones!”

“So glad I found this place! The owner Charlie was so chill and patient as I tried on a bunch of boots. He gave me a quick background on each one and was never pushy. I ended up finding THE perfect pair of vintage cordovan-colored Lucchese boots with the yummiest leather in amazing condition. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!”

“My FAVORITE charity!??? Donate your items to help support their wonderful cause… saving SO many dogs & cats! AND, you don’t have to donate your clothing based on seasons! In other words, bring your winter coats and donate them in the middle of summer! ”

“I was so fortunate to stumble upon this shop on my birthday! After having a wonderful time shopping around and talking about great music with Kim, I got to go to dinner in my gorgeous new dress (not pictured). After dinner, I got to snuggle in my brand new crochet blanket! To top it all off, I spent my morning after drinking coffee my on back patio in my brand new parrot button up! ? I can't WAIT to come back and shop around more! Stumbling on this place made this one of my favorite birthdays to date! Thank you, Kim! ❤️”

“I wasn't very familiar with this store until I started consigning items earlier this year. The volunteers have always been helpful and kind during the consignment process, which is only certain days of the week and during certain hours. They occasionally take a week or 2 off from accepting consignments in order to give volunteers a break. It's a good idea to familiarize yourself with which items are accepted and which ones are not. Most of the pertinent info is available on their website or social media. The scene in the consignment room can seem chaotic, but the many volunteers keep things flowing smoothly. Questions (when I've had them) have been answered by knowledgeable staff and the management team. I can't emphasize enough how kind and patient the volunteers have been during consignment or when purchasing from the shop. This place is run almost entirely by volunteers, which is rather phenomenal to me. It's always fun to take a stroll through the large showroom after dropping off consignment items.”

“I was visited Treasure City Thrift yesterday and met Neon! Such a cool name for a kind person. I also bought this book of Chinese cross stitch. All of their profits go to places that help people. Please shop her to support your community ? ✨”

“As a POC, and first-time shopper, I felt like I was treated with dignity and respect by the many volunteers I interacted with and walked past. Absolutely can't wait to come back here, and already have a date set up to bring my friend with me so they can see how awesome this place is too! Thank you volunteers for making this a welcoming space!”

“Sorry for posting this here instead of a review as UT reuse store admins declined to post this on their social media.I was there in the store this Thursday, 12/07/2023, between 3.15 pm to 3.52 pm. While my black, Toyota Camry was hit by someone and escaped while parked there. I have filed a police complaint and they are assisting with whatever footage got recorded in my front and back dash-cam. However, help is needed with any information that would lead to finding the culprit. I would reward them with half my deductible amount that would have otherwise been spent on the repairs. “I believe it's the most underrated second-hand store in the country. You can walk out of that place looking like a conscious fashionista. It's a great place. The customer service is impeccable. Look at the fanny pack I got for a few bucks. That's not a bad find.”

“This is a cool store to shop, that you definitely can find a gem or two, every so often. This store, like most stores is flooded with re-sellers and you will see as soon as something comes out, people attacking it aggressively, but that's become common at the thrift stores I've visited in the area. The only odd thing about this store, is that they actually allow one of the re-sellers to put out the clothes for them and allow him to pick through it as he does it and throw it in his cart. I've honestly never seen that at any store before, but it made me no longer donate higher end clothes to Salvation Army. I always thought the fun of a thrift store was that everyone has an equal shot at finding something awesome. The prices here have gone up over the years I've stopped by and in some cases are in line with their main competitor, but I think that's just the nature of the business. This store always seems to have awesome employees and is generally clean and well organized, but it can look like a bomb went off after a sale day. If you haven't been to one of these stores before, keep in mind, they do staple price tags through the clothing, so keep in mind you may have holes in a weird spot, since it's usually stapled on the clothes and not on the wash tag, like a lot of other places do. This place has an awesome selection of furniture and pictures, that seems to rotate regularly. They are a little bit light on the electronics, toys, and books, but you should still be able to find a thing or two that will make it worthwhile when you make your way there!”

“All Goodwills, not just this particular one, are turning into something that I do not recognize. They have a staff that has to work 20 time harder than CEO Execs for minimum wage, and they are overpriced. Capitalism at its finest right?
12/9/24
That is very good to hear and I apologize that I was misinformed about the mission of your company.

I also apologize as I meant to say LIVING wage instead of MINIMUM wage. I do realize that it can be hard to pay a living wage in a city that is constantly growing with wealthy people who bring more specialized careers with them and drive the price of living up so drastically.

It would be good to see more companies paying their employees above the living wage, especially for jobs that were deemed "Essential" during COVID (I had one of those jobs) but are still the jobs that usually fail to pay their workers a living wage.

Again I apologize, and I'm glad to hear of your commitment to helping people in our commmunity”

“I enjoy shopping the sale here. Though the store is more crowded with addition of more clothes, I usually find something to purchase. Staff is generally friendly.”

“There are still some gems if you really search; but since the update it’s got probably 3x as much clothing as before. Clothing an employee told me has been trucked in from other locations - Florida, Mexico - which has entirely changed the selection. It no longer seems like south Austinites are the ones who donated, which is a bummer bc it used to be such a fun thrift. Also, prices now higher, without matching brand labels or vintage status (vintage rack had shirts from ‘19.)”

“Huge selection and very cheap prices as usual with Goodwill. Everything I bought/looked at was in good condition. I saw a review complaining how the prices are higher than most retail stores? Total insanity to claim goodwill is more expensive lol. This isn't 2006, everything costs more and they have employees to pay. Go throw away your money to a giant retailer if you feel that way.”

“This store is pretty cool. In comparison to other thrift stores in the area, they're a little higher priced, but there are some good gems found here. I'd like a seating area, just a couple of chairs in a corner out of the way, because I go with my teenagers and I'd love to sit while they browse. Overall, not a bad spot.”

“Really love this store and the people that work here. It’s always a really great hardworking group of guys, super friendly and ready to help you with anything. Great deals throughout the week and solid manager too.”

“Love this place!!

I saw some negative reviews that need some perspective:

It’s a consignment shop so they BUY clothes and items to sell. People comparing to goodwill… goodwill is a corporation that gets all their items for free. This is a locally run shop.

The staff has always been friendly to me. It is customary to have to ask for a dressing room unlocked. They are busy keeping a store running so they aren’t always at your beck and call but that’s to be expected.

Overall this is one of my favorite sell my clothes and spots to buy second hand in Austin. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Finds here are usually on the pricey side but there are some neat things here every now and then!
Lots of nice clothes but they fit really small so if you're looking for fancy clothes or some odd or interesting decor this goodwill would be a good one to search through! Staff are always nice when we stop by!”
