About Village Motor Inn
The Village Motor Inn in downtown Austin offers an affordable and convenient accommodation option, though some guests have had mixed experiences. The inn's staff, including the innkeeper and his wife, are generally described as pleasant and helpful, assisting guests with check-in and providing a warm welcome. The motel itself was recently renovated in 2018, though it is an older building. Rooms are reported to be clean, with comfortable beds and functional amenities like a refrigerator and microwave. The water pressure and temperature in the shower are satisfactory. However, some guests have noted minor issues, such as a worn spot in the tub or difficulty locating the Wi-Fi. Noise from the nearby street and police sirens can be heard at times, though most guests slept soundly. The motel's location on South Congress Avenue is cited as a positive, being close to bus stops and other local businesses. While some guests felt the room rate of around $85 per night was reasonable, others felt the $157 charged for a single night was too high for the quality of the accommodations. A few reviewers expressed disappointment that pets are not allowed. Overall, the Village Motor Inn seems to provide a basic but adequate lodging option for budget-conscious travelers in the Austin area, though individual experiences may vary.
Customer service was very poor and they didn't even give us a clean room. This place was poorly cleaned, bad wifi and rude service is don't recommend this place for single women traveling alone or with children. Doors felt so unsafe.

Good location and the staff Manish and Sam are both very nice. Affordable as well and close to many bus stops. Recommend 👍

Improvisation required in all categories and can't explain with the things how i actually felt. Some things don't seem to work same as it is.
