“This HEB is not as crowded on the weekend as the one on Dowlen. I've been here twice since moving to Beaumont. They have a great selection. Plus, it's more affordable than Kroger. The parking lot can have some sketchy people wandering around.”

We didn't know that only TO Go order.The owner so friendly and kind to let us eating in the store. We had 3 chairs . Not to busy in the store. When I walk in the door, I'm welcomed with ay first name included in the greeting. Local and very convenient, only 6/10s mile from home... Family Dollar is across the street.”
“H.E.B. is my go to store when I want more bang for my buck. I have been shopping at our neighborhood grocery store Cash Saver and have done anything but save. I know I can count on H E B to ensure that I get top quality, even if generic, food at a reasonable price. I spent $72.00 today and got everything I needed. At the other store, Cash Saver it would have cost nearly $200.00. Cash Saver is a scam and it's a shame that they're in a poor budgeted neighborhood where most of it's shoppers are on Food Stamps.”

“Who can I go to for authentic egusi soup and fufu in the Beaumont area. I like assorted meats, beef, chicken, goat,etc. I travel to Houston whenever I can just to get it. I usually have to buy 3-4 orders of it at a time. I can eat it all year round because it’s just that great of a dish to me. I sometimes cook it for myself as I have found a great recipe on YouTube. I find it to be great but I would much rather just eat than have to cook it haha. Whom can I pay to prepare such a great dish for me when my cravings are out of control? Any volunteers? Have pretty much everything except for physically large houseware items, and fresh produce/meat. So if you need anything else besides that check there first. They probably have it, and at prices comparable to HEB/Walmart.”

Prices are a little high compared to your big chain grocery stores however, you get that family feel as soon as you walk in the door. First name basis. “Heb Pharmacy is by far the most organized & timely pharmacy I have used . At another local chain pharmacy I would have delays getting routine meds filled & cost was inaccurate on several occasions. At Heb routine meds have been filled on time , new meds filled quickly even if they had to order them & they have been accurate on billing .”

“This store has everything from deer corn, spray paint, pvc fittings, and screw drivers all the way down to lunchables, milk, chocolate bars and lotto tickets. Pete, the owner is a great guy. He has tried to make sure the local community doesn't have to travel 30 minutes to "town" for small misc items that might be needed on short notice, and he has succeeded.”
