He couldn't have been nicer! I had been doing is grooming myself until he decided he was not interested in me doing it anymore so I decided it was time for him to see a professional!! It was very comforting to have such a nice visit with Susan before hand and she is so happy to show you around and explain everything that she will be doing as far as the grooming goes, shampooing, conditioning, drying process and where the dogs will be in between for down time in nice clean kennels. And we couldn't have been more pleased with the way Codi turned out! Susan did such an amazing job on our little puppy! He looks so adorable with his big boy haircut! He went in looking like a cute fuzzy furry woolly mammoth and was brought out looking like the most adorable precious boy!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I so would!!! HB, Tara and Susan are top notch!!! I love this place and Codi does too

It’s rare to find a veterinarian who makes you feel so supported during a stressful time. I’m truly grateful for the wonderful care we received and would highly recommend Fish Creek Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a veterinary team that treats both pets and their owners with compassion.

Western Hills Animal Medical & Surgical Clinic

I recently moved to the Conroe area to take care of my aging mother when the health of my 18 year old cat named Alex was declining. It was time to put her to sleep which is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. The genuine care, concern and compassion we received was exceptional. I started having second thoughts and Dr. Kaaz patiently walked me through the agonizing decision process. His kind words helped me to do the right thing for Alex. The staff mailed me a beautiful sympathy card that they signed with comforting words.
A week later, my 16 year old Morkie named Olivia got really sick. Dr. Kaaz fit her into his busy schedule that morning, and he and his technician spent almost an hour examining Olivia and talking me through her diagnosis. It felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders when Olivia and I left the appointment. And again, the care, comfort and follow up we received went above and beyond. I’m so relieved and grateful to have Olivia’s care in the hands of Dr. Kaaz and his staff through her final years with me.

Animal Hospital of Montgomery: Joey L Romero DVM
18450 TX-105, MontgomeryWe took our dog for an end of life consultation, he was evaluated and the Veterinarian discussed options and ultimately we were able to take him home for another two months of comfortable life, thanks to the Vet.
When it was time to put our dog down we saw a different vet and had the same kind and empathetic service.
We called ahead to see if we could make an appointment, but they didn’t have any available for that day. The office manager went and asked the vet if she would see us without an appointment and she approved. When we got there they had a room ready for us so that we didn’t need to wait.
We held our dog the whole time while the vet sat on the floor in front of us and explained everything throughout the process. It didn’t feel like a business transaction. All staff from the front desk to the veterinarian and techs were sad with us and so sweet the whole time.
Will continue to use Animal Hospital of Montgomery for all of our other animals.

I have always wanted a dog that could thrive in atmosphere like this. He was around crowds of people, other dogs coming up to him, kids petting him, and he handled it all like a champ! I can confidently say that this was because of the training that he received from Koba’s Four Paws Institute! Thank you guys so much for make this a possibility.

He’s a goofy high energy nut but he was able to teach him recall, doorway manners and how to sit in place for over 30 minutes at a time. Even remaining in place when I leave out the front door and come back minutes later! Very proud of our boy and thank you Lonnie for helping us achieve a great foundation!

I have a senior dog so we had a few extra things with us and they were great about taking all of it and labeling it. I also really appreciate that you can pick up and drop off any time during the day, not just during specific windows of time. I think it’s a bit pricey but isn’t everything.
When I booked the kennel, it was a little confusing because I had to send vet records but then never got a call back to schedule. So I called them to set up the dates even though when I initially called I said I wanted to book not just get pricing. I also have no idea how much interaction he had with other dog, how much play time, or how many potty breaks he got.

Not only is the coffee amazing, but the atmosphere is SO comforting and lovely. The shop has some super cute things for everyone (kids, women, men, etc). I've gotten gifts from the store including some little towels for my grandma and she loved them. The food is also amazing right next to the coffee truck so if you visit it's a MUST. The people are always nice and welcoming, and I always leave feeling a little warmer inside. 1000/10 LOVE it!

But if those are any indicator, I'm sure the rest of the menu is phenomenal as well. Brisket was extremely tender, juicy, and flavorful. Coleslaw was light, crunchy, and not loaded down with sugar like a lot of places do. Simply amazing! Now if only they were open on weekdays..

The Meating Place BBQ Montgomery
22016 Eva Street, MontgomeryI'd been having a hankering for some BBQ Ribs but the best ribs I'd found was in Willis off FM 830 and living in Montgomery I wanted to find a place closer by. The places that I've been to before around here were OK but they just didn't meet the bar I've set for myself. I was driving by The Meating Place BBQ and decided to turn in and finally give them a try. I was out running errands so I got the food To Go. I am sooo glad to have done so! I ordered the 1/2 rack of Ribs with a side of Fried Okra and a Sweet Tea. While waiting I was given a sample of the best tasting Turkey I've ever had! (Will be ordering that on my next visit!) It was so freaking juicy and flavorful! I met one of the cooks and she was just lovely to talk to as was the hostess at the front counter. When I got home I dug right in and man, was my hankering satisfied! The meat was fall off the bone tender and were of good size and I just loved the fried okra, a hefty amount. The only thing I would say is of a personal preference in that I like a heavier rub on my ribs and I like them served with the sauce on the side and not on the ribs. I should have mentioned that when ordering. None the less, it was super good and I will be telling everyone I know to go there and I most certainly will be back. 👍👏👍

Both really delicious. The inside of the place is what you would expect a donut shop to be like. I was hoping to try the breakfast taco but they were unfortunately unable to accommodate an egg white request. Nonetheless, it's a donut place so not totally unexpected.

The service was a highlight: the waitstaff were attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout the meal. We chose a table outdoors, and a gentle lake breeze kept us cool and added a relaxing backdrop to the evening.
Overall, Conroe Lake House offers solid food, a standout cocktail, and great hospitality in a lovely lakeside setting. It’s a good spot for a relaxed dinner, especially if you enjoy dining al fresco.
