1991 US-90 W, CastrovilleBrought my dobie in for his routine cytopoint injection for his allergies. Only problem is his ears are still affected even with the shot. (Super dry, leather ear, smelly, and bleeding) Dr. Carter came in and took one look at him and put him on zenrelia instead. Oral allergy medicine. The nurse recommended adding supplements to his homemade dog food as well. After 3 weeks of being on this medication and supplements, my dobie is FINALLY feeling and looking himself again. For YEARS he's struggled with allergies. Dr. Carter is his savior! No more struggling for my dobie. ❤️

1012 US-90, CastrovilleThis jewel of a restaurant has some of the best tasting authentic mexican dishes in Southwest Texas with by far the best prices. The portions are huge. Taqueria San Juan is also very clean, nicely themed inside and out, and has great testing food with exceptional friendly staff and service. If you are passing through Castroville, it is well worth a stop and will not disappoint. I highly recommend the tampiqenia steak and the carne asada plate.

1339 Co Rd 4516, CastrovilleCould we love Gjelina more? No, I don't think so, but we'll see. We had 6 for dinner and ever single thing was perfection - with the fish in broth being our favorite. With appetizers and pizza, we probably had 12 dishes - it's easy for something to be less than great, but EVERYTHING was delicious. We had older and younger diners and everyone loved the evening. Even the reverberating sound of the room. Lot's of happy visitors. Hats off! We'll be back.
