“I came in today for an oil change and tire pressure check and...let me tell you...they hooked me up!! Since my oil was so black, they recommended an engine flush on top of the regular oil change; they couldn't find the code for the flush service, so they ended up giving to me as a free service ? I had an amazing, stess free experience! Jake, specifically, was awesome; he explained everything and was patient with all or my questions; they are lucky to have him as an employee. I strongly recommend this location for service if you're looking for quality and kindness!”

“Jackson and his team We’re professional and honest. We use them for the first time in the fall of last year for a repair on an cv seal. A few months later the car seemed like it was slowly dripping again on the garage floor and after our primary mechanic told us it appeared to be a transmission leak , We brought it back to Jackson. There was no hesitation for them to warranty the work and he explained in solid detail this susceptibility of some of these silicon seals to fail. They even went the extra mile to find the exact manufactured piece as opposed to trying to put something in there that might have the tendency to fail again. The honesty and integrity under Jackson’s current leadership will make them the first place I call for future issues for our cars.”

I especially appreciated the 'considered but not recommended' items - typically you get upsold on every minor thing possible and i personally dont know enough about cars to be able to judge what is critical vs nice to have, so it was extra awesome to get a good picture of minor/potential issues along with the peace of mind that an expert is telling me it's ok to hold off on it for now. “Baldy' is a true family run business. Because of this, their communication with me was fantastic. I had them replace and tune every steering and suspension component on a 2004 TJ. They successfully diagnosed and fixed every issue on the first attempt. Replacements and tunes included Currectlync steering, PSC professional steering gear box, steering shaft adjustment, ball joints, trail bar installed, front end alignment, brake bleeding, gear box flush, new u-joints. Mounting and balancing of tires. Great work and a very competitive price. I took it to a dealer and one other shop. Baldy's was nearly half of the dealer and about 25% cheaper than the other private shop. First day in to get things started, Trey the owner actually drove it with me to address concerns and get a game plan. Never have I had that happen. Don't pass these guys up. They are the best you can find.”

“I have been going to true auto for a number of years! I have also sent my son's there. Unfortunately in this day and age it's hard to find really honest people.
I had my Nissan towed over from Walmart it had a really bad oil leak! When I got it over to true auto they told me it my just be the oil cooler o rings. And if that was the case it would be $400.00 less than worse case. I told them to go ahead and do the work I trusted them. They could have told me that they had to do more and charged me I had already given them the ok!
Ps: I highly recommend them!”

For it being a Sunday, I was surprised when they had me in and out in ~45 minutes. Terry, the front desk person, was very friendly and didn’t try to upsell me on anything.

“I am overjoyed with the outcome of my vehicle. I had problems with my steering wheel shaking after exceeding 60mph. I went to multiple big name brands with no solutions. I finally tried Lambs Tire and after checking everything that could be the problem, they narrowed it down to bad tire balancing. Tires were properly balanced and no more issues. They will now be my Tire source.”
“The only shop in town I trust. They didn't oversell me, they resurface rotors (who else still does that!?), and they were nice as could be. My brake job only took about an hour, just quick enough to watch Home Alone in the lobby!”

“I called Miguel because my 2023 Sequoia was not riding right: it was downright uncomfortable. That shouldn’t be the case for a vehicle that costs what it does! I had been to the Toyota dealership 10 times - they would rebalance tires. They replaced two tires when it only had 25,000 miles. So I put 4 newMichelin tires on. That did not fix it! Nothing worked to get rid of vibration. So I took it back to Toyota and told them to replace rear shocks. They wouldn’t because rear shocks were supposedly fine. At the Toyota dealership, I did a google search for “suspension near me” and I hit on Miguel’s shop. I asked him if he had something better than Toyota rear shocks. He said he could improve the ride for sure. Then Miguel placed on his lift and checked the drive shaft (which was shaking). He suggested taking to Toyota since my Sequoia only had 27,000 miles. I did. Sure enough! They found the drive shaft was the problem and they replaced it under warranty! Previously, I had taken to Toyota at least 10 times and all I got was a wheel balance (never fixing the problem). Thank you, Miguel, for finding the real problem!!!!”
“I've brought my car to Adam 3 times now. Started with the rear brakes, then eventually the front brakes, and most recently what I thought was a starter problem. My car wouldn't start at 3am. Tried jumping it to no prevail. Had it towed the next morning to Adam's place.
Not only did he fix the problem within a matter of a couple hours the very same morning - He quoted me a very fair and reasonable price for a new starter (before he even saw the car).
Turns out, I didn't even need a starter. The starter was fine. my battery was bad. To take it one step further, Adam called my battery warranty through AutoZone and got me a new battery for FREE! Just paid him $100 for the time and labor. He also fixed my driver front blinker bulb. Thank you Adam.
This guy is a wizard when it comes to cars.
Most importantly, he's honest! Doesn't try to upsell you on things you don't need. Only what's essential to get the job done.
Quality work for a reasonable price.
He has your best interest in mind. Straightforward, no nonsense.

I brought the car to them for the state inspection; but I was also concerned that other maintenance might be long overdue, since family illness had put such things at a very low priority for a very long time. They checked everything and suggested I bring it back in several months when it might need a couple filters. These men could have easily taken advantage of my situation, but they didn’t. Vista Ridge will have my business, and my recommendations, going forward!”
