“My experience with the pharmacists at this location has been very positive. The 2 or 3 I’ve dealt with, especially the one there daily, have been a bright light in a sea of corporate care-less. They are kind and professional and make you feel like you are at a small hometown pharmacy where they actually care. I have had a couple of issues where Walmart has not had medicine available and I have to wait a day or two. Walmart certainly should work on supply issues related to communication with the pharmacy staff; for instance, the staff should never have to say they do not know when a certain medicine will arrive. However, Walmart is pretty good about sending text updates letting you know if there is an issue so that at least you don’t make a wasted trip. And, although this can be frustrating depending on the urgency, just having the pharmacist 1. recognize the issue, 2. show common courtesy and concern that you need the meds, and 3. not wanting to waste your time, goes a very long way. It took a trip to the H‑E‑B pharmacy on Ronald Reagan and the excessively rude pharmacist/staff there to appreciate these - what may seem like basic - gestures and write this review!”

“When my dad got out of the hospital we had to get him a prescription immediately. Unfortunately, he uses the va and nothing every works out with them. After driving around and trying several different pharmacies, we ended up talking to Christopher at Walmart. He went out of his way to help us when no one else would. It was obvious he truly cared even though he didn’t even know us. We were able to get my dad’s prescription by paying out of pocket but with a discounted rate with something Christopher found. We are beyond grateful. Thank you, Christopher.”

“Edit: the store manager called, explained the situation, and apologized: they've had issues with staffing and they said they'll handle process problems better in the future. Original review: Pharmacy pickup is a mess. They'll arbitrarily close indoor pickup and not put up a sign outside to the effect, resulting in frustration, lost time, wasted gas waiting in the drive through. Please do better - medication pickup should be way easier.”
