“I'm not sure why but this location had hardly any customers when I visited it yesterday. I can't recall the last time I was in a Walmart that was as empty as it was. The employees working in the front of the store, at the check out lanes, were literally just standing around talking to each other. I stopped by the vision center which was also empty to see what their selection of frames looked like & learned they don't have hardly any for small faced women. Two or three, in the size I need, to be exact. Due to how slow business was, yesterday was a good day to stop in if you were in a hurry. From parking to check out, it was a breeze. I hope business picks up for them as I'd hate to see this location close down.

“This store is my location for prescription needs and I have never had a problem here even though the pharmacy staff is way overworked, they are always pleasant. This review is about my stop here a little before 4 PM on Christmas day. I just needed some cough medicine. There were a few customers in the store and the star of the show was the cashier. Its Christmas day and this nice guy was working and he had such a great demeanor and was so helpful and positive that I thanked him for working on Christmas . He is the kind of employee that every retailer should have and I hope that a supervisor sees this review and shows appreciation for the young man's professionalism.”

After a very frustrating and discouraging experience at another Walmart Pharmacy location, I walked into the Walmart Pharmacy on 201 Walton Way, Cedar Park, TX, feeling stressed, anxious, and pressed for time due to imminent travel. What I encountered instead was professionalism, empathy, and genuine human care—a complete and refreshing contrast.
From the moment I approached the counter, the atmosphere was welcoming and respectful. I have nothing but high praise and professional accolades for the pharmacy staff at this location. Special recognition goes to the resident pharmacist and the Black pharmacy technician who attended to me. The technician was truly exceptional—compassionate, patient, respectful, and attentive, treating me not as a number, but as a person who genuinely needed help.
The pharmacist went above and beyond, patiently working with my Humana representative to reprocess my vacation exception override, ensuring my prescription could be properly approved, processed, and refilled. There was no rush, no attitude, and no dismissal—just focused problem-solving and sincere concern for my wellbeing.
This duo exemplified what healthcare service should look like: professional, empathetic, and customer-centered. In a situation that could have easily remained unresolved, they took ownership and delivered results with grace and kindness.
Thank you to the pharmacist and pharmacy technician at this location for restoring my faith in customer service and patient care. You turned a stressful experience into a positive one, and for that, I am truly grateful.

“I really like this Walmart. It is cleaner and in order than other Walmart's in the Austin areas. Although the staff and cashiers are nice, I wish the floor people would be more willing to assist shoppers. This is a large Walmart and I know that customers would like to have someone think out of the box and ask if we need help, before we ask for help. This means a lot to me when I want to get in and out. Maybe more training management?”

“I have a regular CVS in my city closer to where I live and they did not have my pain medication in stock. My Dr sent my pain medication to this location and they filled it for me and was very polite when I asked could they get it ready sooner since I had to travel 40 minutes to pick it up. Kudos to them for getting my medication ready in a timely manner. Much appreciated”
“Edit: the store manager called, explained the situation, and apologized: they've had issues with staffing and they said they'll handle process problems better in the future. Original review: Pharmacy pickup is a mess. They'll arbitrarily close indoor pickup and not put up a sign outside to the effect, resulting in frustration, lost time, wasted gas waiting in the drive through. Please do better - medication pickup should be way easier.”
