“UPDATE: My Christmas card was delivered to my grandson Feb. 22nd, about two months after it was mailed. My faith in the USPS was restored. Make sure to fill out Missing Mail, so they can try to locate mail when it is delayed or lost.
I took a Christmas card on Dec. 24th with two gift cards for my grandson in Arizona. I asked if it would be more secure to mail the gift cards by using a Certified Mail Receipt. I was led to believe it would be tracked, and I paid an extra $6.37. At first it tracked the letter and said it was in transit, and should arrive Dec. 29th. Later it said it was in transit, and would arrive late. After16 days of being in transit, I reported it as missing mail. It has still not arrived, and that makes me feel that a post office employee took it, since it had to be signed for and was NEVER delivered. I will NEVER trust the post office again. Next time I will use FEDEX. The people in this Post Office are extremely nice, and helpful. The letter probably left the Round Rock facility, but who drove the mail to the next facility might be the problem, or if it made it to another facility, someone must have taken it there. This complaint is about my letter that was never received, not about this particular Post Office in Round Rock.”
“This might be Austin's most extraordinary post office, and feels like a remnant of the old West. The post office is in an antique stone building that features a vault, safe, and empty shelves where a general store could have been.
The store is at a railroad crossing next to a large industrial site.
There is a mailbox in front and a window inside with post office boxes. The interior is know accessible during scaled back hours Compared to other post offices.”

“I found the employees to be friendly and professional. The line I was in moved fairly quickly.
There are two entrances and a good number of mail boxes. The location was also pretty clean.
These seems to be a solid neighborhood location.”
“Dave Was very nice and helpful as my wife and I just mailed out our Thank you cards for our wedding and we're having some issues of folks getting the cards. Dave explained the process and gave us some peace of mind that we can still hope to see all the cards be delivered. Very professional thank you again Dave 🫡🫡🫡 (also Dorothy is a sweetheart as well and was also very helpful and kind)”

“While understaffing is a reality everywhere, I’ve really had great experiences here despite sometimes longer wait times. Vickie is wonderful and each time I have a question, she thoroughly explains the protocol and options I have. I’m never left to wonder the expectations or what steps I should take next if something goes not as planned. She helped me with a PO Box and a package I had. I hope she gets a raise!”

“We are having road work done on our street and our regular delivery person stated she couldn't make it down our street to deliver mail today. Normally that wouldn't be a problem except I had ordered plants to be shipped with a guarantee of 3 day delivery. Live plants in Texas heat sitting at the post office waiting to be delivered no a good idea. I called as soon as I got home and Crystal answer the phone. I explained the situation to her, she was super helpful and understanding of my dilemma. She put me on a brief hold, located my package and sent someone to my house within 15 minutes of our conversation! Thank goodness as one of the plants was already showing distress from the heat/shipping. Thank you Crystal and CP post office for providing excellent customer service!”
