They are very professional and pleasant at every encounter! Over the six years if for some reason or another I may have needed to pay late they were very understanding. Too, the people are helpful and knowledgable about all of their rentals (I have been to other locations where the knowledge level is lacking. “On the day of my move, a competitor moving company called me 10 minutes prior to scheduled pick up, that the truck we had reserved had not been turned in from the previous renter. We panicked as the only options they offered were a much smaller truck (meaning more trips back and forth, even comp'd it's still an inconvenience and not time efficient) picking up 30 minutes away from us. After a quick google search, Penske came to the rescue and arranged a reservation for immediate pick up. They were very helpful, professional and proactive. The truck was clean and the driver's seat was very cushioned and comfortable. Costs were clear and e-mailed immediately before pick-up and after drop off so nothing was caught off-guard. In a time of need, Penske left a lasting impression. This location truly earned a customer for life not only for myself but my family and friends.”

“I buy equipment all over the country and if it's a long distance purchase, I'll fly and rent a truck to drive it back home to Florida.Last week I reserved a truck and flew 1500 mile to Dallas. When I got there everything went as normal until Samantha pulled up in my truck. I took a look at it and noticed that the overhead door was too low for the load I was picking up.I told her that this truck wouldn't work and why.She spun around toward the door of the office and said, "Well then, lets go find you a truck."After a few clicks and a couple of phone calls she was able to locate the perfect option and even paid for an Uber ride to get me there - all with a happy to help - very professional attitude. I could not possible have been more grateful.Just when I thought that true customer service was a thing of the past, I found it at Penske Truck Rental in Irving Texas.Sami saved my day and my trip! “This location serves at least three purposes:1. Fuel filling station2. Annual state mandated vehicle inspections3. Neighborhood UHaul pick-up/ drop-off point.I visited recently for the annual personal vehicle inspection. No waiting around in the heat on Monday at 9:30 AM. The inspector was competent and confident, even courteous. $21.50 for a personal vehicle. You need proof of insurance or they don't inspect. You pay inside fuel station before they even look at your car, so make sure you have insurance proof prior to spending time in a line. It gets really congested here with the roadwork causing zero access from west side.I've dropped off UHaul trucks at this point before and it turned out to be more hassle than convenience. I'd skip this UHaul point and visit a branded location in Carrollton or Lewisville right off the freeways.”
