“Love this place. Over the years we've tackled various landscaping projects and have bought river rocks, decomposed granite and garden soil from them. Their staff is always friendly and informative.”
“The only place I like to buy my chicken feed. Good staff knowledge and conversation. Great prices on products. Sometimes they have some plants on sale too. All around top notch feed and supply store.”
“Fantastic Nursery! It’s a bit off the beaten path but it’s huge!!! It went on and on. They had everything we were looking for and more. Tons of native plants, indoor plants, grasses, trees and so much more! The staff are super helpful and give great suggestions! Regina drove us around in a golf cart and helped us pick out the perfect plants for our garden! We will absolutely be back!!”
“This shop is awesome. They have the largest selection of herbs compared to any other apothecary I’ve ever shopped at.
The owner is spot on. Very courteous, quick to respond , and extremely knowledgeable. His father started the business, and Nate was raised with the wisdom and skills of running the apothecary and with herbal healing abilities. FIVE STARS times infinity for this shop. Thanks Nate for continuing the family business. I’ve loved this shop ever since I moved to austin back in 2012.
They deliver locally to buda and most parts of austin. Highly recommend shopping here.”
“Service was great. They had my frame and it is of very high quality. The lenses were made perfect and only took 6 days. Pick up was courteous and they adjusted the nose piece. Then they adjusted the fit on my ears. I have never had a better experience. The best thing is they were honest with me.”
“Five star experience when working with Melissa. She made sure I had the right tool for the job before I rented something that wasn’t up to the task. She was very helpful and understanding, I’ll definitely be renting from this Home Depot again because of her.”
“I Had issues with a product I purchased that needed assembly. Linda was wonderful and very helpful. Thank you Linda! I purchase from this store all the time! A Happy customer!”
“Marcus and Brain came through big-time. Pulling the concrete off the shelf. Timing was good. Help me load it into my truck. They were stellar, did a great job. Home Depot will always get my business!”
“I live the Home Depot. Everyone is helpful and nice. They are a bit pricey when it comes to stuff that you would find at HEB, Target, or hobby lobby but if you’re coming here strictly for outdoor tools, you’re at the right place.”
“Everything you need for your home projects — all in one place!
The Home Depot in Austin is an absolute go-to for any home improvement project, big or small. The store is well-stocked with a massive selection of tools, materials, and supplies, and it's easy to find exactly what you need. The staff are knowledgeable and genuinely helpful — a quick question at the right aisle can save you hours of guesswork. Prices are competitive and the checkout process is smooth and quick. A reliable staple for any DIY enthusiast or professional contractor alike!”
“Shout out to Chris and Greg for taking the time to go above and beyond. I intercepted Chris as he was about to leave, and he still patiently helped me locate some tricky tile. He even signed me up for the rewards service and told me all of the tips and tricks. Greg was then able to retrieve the tile from the topmost shelf on the other side of the store. I also appreciate the help loading the cart and car. Top notch service all around!”
“Everything you are looking for building, remodeling and equipping your house.
This store usually has promotions and a variety of brands and prices adapted to different budgets.”
“We needed a part for our snowblower. The diagrams are exceptional as I was able to project them onto our large TV. We ordered the incorrect part the first time and had to send it back. That was no problem and my refund was immediate when they received it. We ordered the correct part and it's perfect. The snowblower is back in business!”
“I've been to this home depot a few times, especially for gardening tools and buying plants and soil for my backyard. It's as any Home Depot should be, with a wide range of selection and is well maintained. However the location can make it stressful due to the construction around the entrance and the heavy traffic. I also would prefer they had a better selection of perennial plants. For instance, they only had Spanish lavender rather than the tougher, longer lasting phenomenal lavender which would be more appropriate for Austin's climate. So if you're looking for a better variety of plants I would recommend visiting a local nursery. For home improvements this Home depot does the job. Staff was for the most part very helpful except for one employee who even refused to check in the system if they had the plant I was looking for in stock. I would also recommend they carry expanded shale for the clay soil here in Austin.”
“This looks like a small shop, but they have so much! BIG trees are available. All kinds soil mixes are sold, both in wholesale amounts, and even retail. Their mulch is made on-site, so there is no middle man. In fact, I believe that everything is packaged on- site. They have a complex of over a thousand acres, so it's deceiving when you see the small shop. Plus, this place has been in business since the 1970's, and is family owned.”
