12000 US-380 #100, Cross RoadsAbsolutely love this place. It is tucked away, nothing big and flashy but it's busy! The food is amazing and authentic. Inside dining offers a great atmosphere, not too loud. Sitting outside on a nice evening, makes a perfect evening however, the flies get to be a bit overwhelming but that is not the restaurants fault. The service is fabulous - fast and efficient. The servers are all very nice!

Prairie House Restaurant
10001 US-380, Cross RoadsI’m leaving this review based on our visit today. We have been eating here for over 30 years (since they first came to the Crossroads area in the old location) and food quality had slipped in recent years. Today was different. Our steaks were perfectly prepared, the mashed potatoes were great and the green beans were probably the best I’ve had. The food quality today was mush different than even in the recent past and the service was terrific. Hopefully it stays this way. Good job, folks.
