4750 S Colony Blvd # 106, The ColonyDr. Chris Durham has been my vet since 2020. First - in 2020, he wasn't scared to let people come in the room with their pets and be with them - he encouraged it. He is thoughtful, very thorough and has seen me through a cat with cancer, another cat with thyroid disease, heart disease, beginning kidney disease and blindness. I'm writing this as we are iced in. Before the storm hit, I called because my cat was having what seemed to be a neurological episode (probably cardiovascular now that i know more) He got on the phone with me and directed me to another animal hospital, because if he needed overnight care, his team doesn't do that - which i already knew and respected. I ended up at MedVet Dallas - told them that his vet was Chris. They sent over all of my pet's paperwork and low and behold, the AM of the ice-pocolypse, Dr. Durham calls me with his information, discussing what was found, next course of action and what we would do. I told him to be safe on the streets and he said it was a priority for him to come in, in case anyone needed him and his team. I can't express my gratitude enough to him and his team. He will always be my trusted veterinarian.

Paw Oasis Pet Resort
4770 Windhaven Pkwy, The ColonyWe absolutely love the sweet, caring staff at Paw Oasis! We adopted two adult Schipperkes last year and they needed help socializing with other dogs. Since we have busy weeks and travel, we knew we needed a safe facility that could help care for them. The fact that they have a trainer, Jesus, on staff was a huge plus for us! Everyone was so kind and positive about creating a plan to transition Jazzy and Dexter from social enrichment to regular doggie daycare. We did a full training program with Jesus and he is amazing! He trained all of us - dogs and humans! He is great to work with and immediately identified what each dog needed. It’s comforting to know that he’s there if we need some refresher training. Every single person we’ve encountered at Paw Oasis has been wonderful and we highly recommend them for any service - doggie daycare, training, boarding or grooming. Jazzy and Dexter are completely different dogs thanks to everyone at Paw Oasis!

You know you’ve got a good pub when there’s construction up but you’ve got a line of people waiting for a tap. Coffee is coming soon but people line up to get a glass from the most diverse tap list within a 20 mile radius. (I dare you to try to find a better tap list)
If you like craft beer and your desire is to always try something new… this is the watering hole for you.
Locally owned pub that knows how to serve up a relaxing glass of “sit down or I’ll put you down” ;)

3700 Plano Pkwy #500, The ColonyWonderful food, service, and hospitality! Definitely will come back. The crab cake Benedict was fantastic, as were the bacon and gouda grits. They also had an extensive menu of Pancakes, omelets, etc.

He was the only one there and did a outstanding job at not only being the bartender but waiting as well. Drinks and food still came out pretty quickly. And it was absolutely delicious. We had the Fish and Chips. Highly recommend 👌

We were seated in a U shaped booth which was fun and seated us all but not convenient, in my opinion, if someone in the back has to get up to use the restroom. Our table shared multiple appetizers which were all great and we all had some sort of alcoholic beverage. Everything was presented well and this restaurant has something for everyone. Hated the only TVs they had were in the bar area (FIFA game in play) and I couldn't see it from the booth we were seated at, but I know this isn't a sports bar. Bathroom was clean but I couldn't get the right side sink faucet to work 🤷♀ This place could be considered a little pricey for some but you can check out their menu online and if something sounds tasty, it probably is and I would recommend a visit!
