It wasn’t the easiest to schedule at first, but it was worth the wait! Teddy looks adorable! And his cut wasn’t just a haircut; he was styled! The cut has character. He’s adorable on his own, but his cut just elevated his whole look. Pricing was great and so was the communication. We will be scheduling ahead of time next time. We may just become regulars. Each of the doctors is personable and straightforward with your pets health options, they care about me and more importantly care deeply about my dogs. I’m especially grateful to the care Dr. Charles has provided over the past three decades. The staff is friendly, enjoy their work, and very helpful. While you can take your pet to a newer veterinarian office or fancy boarding facility, it’s the people and quality of care that really matters. Casa Linda Animal Clinic continues to exceed my expectations each and every visit.
Side note: Casa Linda Animal Clinic also cares for the City of Dallas Police Dogs. This fact proves they are one of the best in the city for pet care.

My last visit gave me sticker shock. My cat had a sprained paw, so an x-ray was definitely needed to see if there was a break...but $170.00 for one? With visit, antibiotic for a paw puncture, pain med, x-ray, and I was presented with a bill for $392.00. I felt victimized. They have this huge renovation going on with the office. I guess I am paying for their new wing. Disgruntled client.

Our dog had tore his back toe nail out so that it went under and stuck into his paw . He could not walk and was in pain. This had happened Saturday, the day before, but we hesitated to go to an emergency vet because we have gone to one before and it cost over $1,000 !
We called first and they were very nice. We walked in and immediately were checked in and put in a room. Within 15 minutes a vet ( not a tech - I asked if he was a vet)came in and we discussed the situation . They took my dog back , fixed his toe, showed us the nail , and discussed after care .
We were in and out in one hour! It cost $130.00 dollars.
We were extremely happy with the entire situation , the care, the people, and the outcome.
For that reason- I wrote this review !

Before training, Cashew was super energetic and had trouble listening, especially on walks and around new people. After working with Jake, I’ve noticed such a huge difference — Cashew listens so much better, walks calmly on a leash, and responds to commands right away.
Jake was patient, professional, and really took the time to get to know Cashew’s personality. He kept me updated with progress videos and tips so I could keep practicing at home, which I really appreciated. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with.
I would definitely recommend Jake to anyone looking for a reliable, experienced, and kind trainer. Cashew came back more confident, well-behaved, and still his same sweet self!

Smart Dog Dallas
326 Rock Island St, DallasI’m in tears. This is absolutely unacceptable. I recently booked my dog for a 2 week stay while I was away for a work trip. I pre-packaged all of his food into little baggies and told the staff at the front desk when I dropped him off that he needed one baggie for breakfast and one for dinner. This was different than what I had filled out on his online profile when I originally registered him. I explained that he was on a preventative antibiotic prescribed by his vet that I had split up and placed in his food, and this is why he needed to be fed twice a day instead of once. I was assured that this was no problem at all and that his feeding schedule would be updated. When I came to pick him up today, I was handed back HALF of the food I had packed for his stay (see photo). He clearly had only been fed a half-portion of his food for his entire stay, meaning he missed half of his antibiotic regimen as well. My dog also appeared like he had lost a NOTICEABLE amount of weight — I’m talking 1-2 pounds of weight-loss for a 30 pound dog over a 2 week period.
Prior to this stay, I was already having issues with none of the staff knowing how to operate their office management computer system. I booked 3 prior stays with them and the bill was never ready when I came to pick my dog up. I would have to call 3, 4, even 5 times to pay my outstanding balance because none of the staff knew how to generate an invoice in the computer system. Once when I called, they didn’t even have record that my dog had stayed with them that week. It’s very stressful as a client to have an outstanding bill and have to call over and over repeatedly trying to take care of your balance.
This business is not being managed well, and the consequence of that is that my poor dog was underfed and missed his antibiotics for 2 weeks. I hope management sees this and is inspired by this negative review to make some serious changes before something more serious happens.
Update: I appreciated the owner’s response and the fact that she made it right by crediting my account for my stay so I am updating my review. Things happen and ultimately my dog is okay. I appreciate the accountability!

We brought our new rescue Wally here for a 2 hour daycare trial, a full daycare day and now I’ve just dropped him off for boarding. The staff here is always kind and informative (they let me email them as much as I want without me feeling like a bother lol). When we entered the door today, the person behind the desk quickly greeted my dog by his name (and I heard another staff member say his name too once he walked in!). Even better, he calmly walked over towards us, got down to my dog’s eye level and calmly brought him to the play area. Our dog is shy with people, but I am so thankful I didn’t need to explain that (even tho Wally isn’t a regular here!!). I wanted to wait to leave a review until after boarding, but I just had to give a shout out to the person behind the desk working this afternoon. We had a negative experience with our last boarding facility, but I am so confident our dog is in good hands! Consider boarding/daycare for your dog here if you love your dog and want them to be surrounded by people who are skilled AND love dogs!☺️

1810 S Akard St UNIT 100, DallasI ordered an oat milk cappuccino at Full City Rooster and it was a letdown—thin, bubbly foam and the milk tasted a bit overheated, so the espresso came off harsh and roasty. Cool roastery vibe and nice staff, but the drink lacked balance. I’d skip the oat cap here and try a pour-over or straight espresso next time.

5214 Stoneleigh Ave, DallasOn Friday, July 12, 2019, I lost my first dachshund, Gracie. She was my whole world and I was completely shattered. With a dachshund-shaped hole in my heart, I searched online and found Dachshund Central. I met Tim the following Tuesday, and Emmy Grace was born exactly one week after losing Gracie. Tim was so very kind and let me visit Emmy often, which helped with my grieving so much. Emmy has become my entire world, but I feel like she needed a sister... I was introduced to another breeder but there is no one like Tim or Dachshund Central. Emmy's new sister, Maggie, will join our pack in a few weeks and we are so excited. That I get to spend more time with Tim and his wonderful babies is a complete bonus!
Thank you, Tim, so very much for your love of this wonderful breed, your wonderful heart, and for letting me fall completely in love with your sweet puppy crew!

A lot of the people who go there do not seem to understand dogs! They’re playing. Relax. A lot of these folks helicopter parent their pups and it’s ridiculous. Don’t bring your dog to the dog park if you haven’t the slightest idea of animal interactions. ?

My family and I love her so much❤️ Please consider adopting or fostering a pet from DAS, they are so full of dogs than cats.. They have so many to take care of and if you could help take at least one off their hands then that would be great.
