The vets and staff are great and very kind, the wait is never too long, you can usually get an appointment within a week or two (maybe sooner if it's an emergency), and you can pick up medications for you pets without an appointment (if you call ahead). I love the staff here and will continue to bring my pets here.

The Velvet Snout
1010 Hampshire Lane, RichardsonI have 3 large dogs, all with different personalities. Unfortunately my girl Remi was reactive and mistaken for agressive. Josh met with her and knew immedietly it was fear not aggression. We set up a 3 week board and train for her. During this time he communicated with me several times through out the weeks. Showed me videos of her progress and even asked me to bring one of my other dogs up whom remi fights with. So he could work with them together and help solve those issues.
In the past I have had other trainers tell me from day one that Remi couldnt be helped. Not Josh, not his team. She thrived with them! When I got my girl back, she was calmer, focused and yet she was still herself. She loves Josh, she loves the people at velvet snout.
The best part of their training program is that it doesnt end when you get your dog back. Josh and his team set you up for success as the dog parent. Giving you instruction to gain that same respect with your dog as he gets from them. Including follow up sessions. He was also aware that I was very nervous about triggers in my home. So he decided to bring remi home and show me what to do and how to react/correct those triggers in the house.
I live over and hour away from this place and I will be coming back to let my dogs go to doggy daycare, get groomed or whatever they offer. Dog training anywhere can be a costly investment but there is zero regret with the training staff/program at the velvet snout. I will forever be grateful for Josh giving my girl, my pack, and myself a happier safer life! Worth every minute and every dollar spent!

3609 Shire Boulevard, RichardsonI visited with a recommendation and was very impressed by the place. The staff treated me very well, following up with me regularly and ensuring I was happy. The place looks amazing on the inside, really demonstrating that Texas vibe. Lastly, everything I ate was delicious. The bread was soft and fresh, potatoes cooked perfectly with a nice cheese sauce, and vegetables crisp and peppery. The steak was the star as it should be. I ordered mine a bit less done than I normally do and didn't regret it. Pleasantly chewy and tender with a great char and softened fat, the steak was wonderful. I will likely come back here whenever I visit Dallas.

We had a daily special of Tropical creole salmon, and the garlic Parmesan flounder. We also ordered the coconut shrimp starter. They also gave us samples of some of their soups. They were so good that we ordered some to go! We highly recommend this place if your looking some really good food.

They have plenty of seating, We had 5 people in our group and the bill was only $52! The bread came out fresh(you can see them making it and come out of the oven). It’s free refill for the Turkish tea(self-serve). We had the Turkish breakfast, and bc I can’t have dairy, they took out the non-vegan stuff out and charged me less for it and made me totally new bread without dairy and eggs! No restaurant has ever done that for me:) Thank you so much!😊 🤲🏽❤ Highly recommend

But what really made our visit special was Jose, the bartender. He was incredibly friendly and took the time to genuinely welcome us, walk us through the menu, and make sure we were having a great time.
It’s clear that the exceptional service extends throughout the entire staff. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Great food, great drinks, and even better hospitality. We will definitely be back!

I usually get a create-your-own juice made with fresh fruits and vegetables, along with an acai bowl, and the quality is consistently great. My pregnant wife loves coming here as well.
What really separates this place from a typical smoothie chain is that the focus is on real, fresh ingredients and not just powders mixed with water and ice. You can actually choose from fresh fruits, vegetables, and other wholesome ingredients and know what’s going into your drink or bowl.
The women who run this location are always sweet, professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. It’s refreshing to be served by people who seem to genuinely care about what they’re making and the customers they’re serving.
For this side of town, I honestly haven’t found another place that offers this combination of fresh ingredients, healthy options, consistency, and good service. If you’re looking for real fruit and vegetable juices, acai bowls, and healthier food options rather than the typical powdered smoothie experience, this place is definitely worth checking out.
